Dan was and is pure *, but scott brown gave the ball away trying to win a stupid freekick instead of just playing an easy pass!!

I was a fan of Big Dans last season, as he formed part of the best defence in the league but this pre-season and now during the actual season he has been found wanting and teams have quickly discovered that the ball over the top is the way to go Vs Maj.
Thing is, he's not getting any younger and will only lose pace year on year and will become more of a liability.
My feeling is that if not for Izzy's leg break Dan wouldn't have been out tonight, as K Wilson & Mulgrew appear to be our 2 best CBs at present.
Granted it remains to be seen if they can play together but time will tell on that one.
For me, this season Big Dan was only ever going to be back up but I was happy with that. Having seen his performances in pre-season and the first few games I'm no doubting this.
Still let's hope & pray we get * an away goal, as if we crash out tonight we could enter a European wilderness for years to come which would likely result in even less investment in the team and less players wanting to come due to the lack of European football.
The time to act is now!
Sign some quality, win the league and qualify for Europe next season! If we keep doing that and keep improving year on year then we can avoid European obscurity and the sub standard players it will ultimately result in us signing.
But enough of that for now - LET'S FECKIN' SCORE NOW!!!!!!!
