That's an awful decision whatever way you look at it . If he was that desperate to play football I'm sure we could have sorted a loan out for him . Hope it doesn't come back to bite him.

 

Thought he looked to have the potential to be class and really wanted him to stay but after hearing what Rodgers said about the situation I’m glad he’s gone. 17-18 years of age and breaking into Celtics first team in a season where they’re under a lot of pressure to win the league and coming off the bench ahead of the likes of holm, bernardo, Iwata etc then being offered a new contract on improved terms and told he’s in as a first team player where he’s definitely gonna get more game time than last season but now he’s going to millwall? Mental, most likely poorly advised by a greedy agent looking to get as much money out of him as possible. The lad could’ve potentially been playing CL football this year at still only 18 along with winning domestic silverware. Instead he’s going to an average championship side where as of now he’s not guaranteed more game time. It’s a shame

 

And these wee guys are meant to be Celtic fans.

 

To be fair it's an interesting move and shows he's got a bit of bottle about him.

No different really from when O'Riley turned down Fulham and went to MK Dons to play backing himself that he'd progress quicker.

Millwall as a fan base are horrible, but if he is going to get First Team football and wanted a move within the UK you can see why this will tempt him more.

 

Imagine leaving Celtic for * Millwall as a young promising player, ridiculous man.

If he wants to move to Millwall from Celtic after apparently being offered a decent contract then off ye * as far as I'm concerned. Hope it works out for him but won't have any interest in his career. No sense him hanging about if he doesn't want to be here.

Don't even think he's good enough to be starting for them and was on the cusp of getting plenty of games here as a squad player..

He's a bit limited though in my opinion. Bit of potential but overrated for me. I personally thought he was nowhere near ready for us..

It makes no sense. Some Celtic fan leaving for Millwall too. Could have been playing in the Champions League too.
I really liked him too, as he has the talent and build to establish himself in midfield.

 

His agent has definitely pushed all of this, wanted more money with all the interest so we called the bluff and now only Millwall waiting to take him. Poor move all round.

 

Dissapointing he felt his future was elsewhere, seemed like a fella that had a big future but wants everything now.

 

And now he will be playing lowland league for another 5 months... Surely someone in his family should have kept him right. Agent probably desperate for some money.
