But aye, when we have lads like lawal, Murray, Roberson, we need to get them to teams in the bottom half of the league at least, while they are that sort of 19/20 age, if not earlier.

I actually dislike ajer and hjelde for that wee escapade they pulled ajer doesn’t get his move knowing fine well their was a ten in a row season hits a huff and is in hjelde ear telling him to run contract down can tell ajer was at fault Their the way he was over compensating with his comments after he left he done Celtic dirty

Bit harsh on Ajer. Always felt he gave his all in the covid season.

 

Injuries * the big boy..

Sadly won't make it here..

 

I think he has what it takes to be a very good centre back. I liked his positioning and maturity for his age. Worrying to be getting ops at such a young age but hopefully gets a good rehab and comes back stronger.

 

Did he not miss majority of last season with injury? Hopefully he recovers well but lot of big injuries for young lad

 

Over a year later and still getting surgeries.

Devastating for him. In all likelihood could’ve already been a treble winner but had it all taken away from him.

Must be mental torture for young players especially going through serious injuries.

 

Has injuries * this boy? Last I heard was more surgeries, don’t follow the young team enough anymore to know if he’s been playing again.

Be a right shame if injuries have * him completely, he looked a prospect coming in when he was needed. Surgeries and injuries he’s had though, I’d be surprised at recovery at any decent level.


But hoping he’s been back and I’ve just not been paying attention enough, cos a had zero clue who Kelly was.

 

Hasnt played a minute this season amd at age of 20 that's not good. Such a vital period for young players development. Also wasnt the quickest of players when he played in 1st team and can't imagine the multiple surgeries will have done much to help his pace. Unlikely he'll be here much longer but hopefully he still has a career in football at the very least

 

Actually thought he was older than 20 now, not impossible to recover and kick on at 20.

Very difficult to though, it’s stuff like his situation that makes me glad John Kennedy’s still here. Regardless if he can recover to a level we’d hope or even more so if it’s stopped him being able to, he’s a perfect guy for helping the boy.

 

Signed a new deal today until 2026


Dane Murray is a player who has already had his first taste of senior football, making his debut in UEFA Champions League qualifying against FC Midjtylland back in 2021.

However, the past two seasons have been hindered by long-term injury for the defender, who has worked hard to get back to full fitness once again.

 

Soon to be 21, hope he recovers well from injury and can get in amongst the first team again, vague memories but thought he didn't do too bad when he played, sure he had a cup game or two?

 

Played the "early" Ange period is my memory. Might have even played a game or 2 in our European campaign.

Hoping his injuries haven't * his career already.

He's running out of time to make it here though.

I really hope he does as he showed signs of huge potential when he did play for the first team.

 

Get him on loan to Rapid Bucharesti or to Our Austrian Partner club

 

Looked really good in the youth team and i thought he did really well in those qualifiers being chucked in.

will be some turnaround if he manages to make it here after just about 2 years out though.
