He offers so much to us with his running but man oh man.....I've said it consistently but his finishing is brutally bad..

You knew when that didn't go in at that moment that we'd live to regret it..

He is what he is. Love the guy but his finishing is easily his worst attribute, I mean in Scotland it's pretty terrible so it was always gonna translate unfortunately at the highest level.

Sitter. Can't be missing chances like that in the CL.

Really like him but his finishing is absolutely awful. Feels like most of his goals have been scuffs or fortunate in some way.

Hazard missed an equally good chance. It happens. He's a class act.

We needed either him or Abada to make the breakthrough and unfortunately neither of them had their shooting boots on tonight.

Thought he did well, got a bit closer to big GG and worked hard as usual.

I think it was a bit harsh on Abada to be hooked at that point. Irony is if it falls to him in the box it's in, despite, granted, him missing the earlier chances too.

That's the difference for me and why I wouldn't start Maeda in the vast majority of our games. That clinical edge just isn't there.

Fine margins again, top class players finish the chances like he and Abada, just look at the Madrid ones, they finished their chances.

    Just wasn’t our night.

We can't depend on him at all in front of goal. Brutal miss. Best keep him stuck out on the wing
for his pressing and tracking back.

I was glad he was dropped for the Hun game.

We're a better team with Jota on the left and Abada on the right.

He doesn't have that quality in the final third, at least nowhere near consistently enough to be a starter for us IMO.

    He's a useful squad player.

Eden Hazard done almost the carbon copy of his scuff up the opposite end, think he cost over a £100m.

    * happens really, I wish he connected and scored. No doubt there, but I’ll not crucify him.

Pretty much my thoughts on it the now mate. Wish he was more clinical, was a sitter, but in the grand scheme it’s not something I’ll go overboard with.

I doubt it’s something Ange will even feel the need to point out, he’ll know himself, let’s hope he grows from it.

Only 24 too, still plenty of time to round the edges. I’m sure Ange sees what we all see. He could be a class player if he was sharper in front of goal. We’ve all said it “aye but Abada is more clinical” and that proved to be the case again. Sure Abada missed a couple but one was a snapshot and one was a tough chance that he should’ve smashed and he knows it.

Lots of positives to take from the game but I’m absolutely gutted it’s finished 3-0 and was actually glad to see how gutted Ange was also. Moral victories are no victories at all. Let’s kick on now.
