How is it that all 4 lads from Japan are just so infectiously likable and seem like such characters.

Because they are respectful and hardworking. They have been a credit to their country.

    This.

If he can improve on a few areas technically he will be incredible and needs to hold the ball in more with back to goal, win throw ins, retain possession.

But his discipline, stamina and work rate are unmatched and he will create chances for both himself and his team mates due to this alone.

Always good for a run into the back post and will score a lot of goals from this, as he already has a few.

Yep. Looks like he's lacking some confidence as well..

Watch his reaction to the heavy touch for Jota's goal. Head straight down and looked bereft of any confidence whatsoever..

I really wouldnt have said that at all. He has been scoring or assisting fairly regularly of late. He got two assists in the game.

I think if anything the pass to him from
Kyogo was overhit, it was really fizzed in to him at excessive pace for the distance he was away. He was probably just eager to get his name on the score sheet.

I think the Japanese lads are just so professional they then set such high standards on themselves they create such insane pressure from internal demand.

I mainly see it with Kyogo and Maeda when they don't score...the frustration on them and their expressions are universal.

13 goal contributions in 22 appearances halfway through the season in a new country.

Not bad for someone with supposedly no technical ability.

People forget he's young. Alot younger than kyogo. I still think he's got that youth * the bed thing when an easy chance appears imo. Some of the misses where outstandingly bad. Those will iron out with experience and age. His control and touch has came on massively in the last 6 months and I bet his game will only improve ten fold next season. Exciting player.

I think also people fail to take into consideration the actual speed he's running onto balls at, and how difficult it must be to judge the ball at that pace.

The miss against Sevco being a good example of that.

It has been decided that a #前田大然 player who has been transferred to Celtic FC for a limited time will be fully transferred to Celtic FC

Daizen Maeda, who belongs to Yokohama F. Marinos (loan transfer to Celtic FC), has decided to transfer to Celtic FC completely, so I will inform you with comments.
In addition, Maeda is scheduled to visit the 2022 Meiji Yasuda Life J1 League Section 15 held on May 25 (Wednesday)

    Comments from Daizen Maeda
"Even after I came to Scotland, everyone's support was encouraging, and I was able to deliver good news to you in the form of a league victory.
All the thoughts I conveyed during the loan transfer, but I will continue to do so. I will continue to challenge myself.
    F. Marinos is one of my favorite clubs forever!
#Marinos Family is the best! "

I think he will continue to prove to be a very useful player in the team.
He is completely unique. His conditioning and stamina is/was exceptional. We speak of Hatate being tired, but Maeda in contrast never wilted.
Hopefully he can kick on and add a bit more technical ability to his game. He could become great if he does.

Happy to see this one is officially wrapped up and we can focus on the other two loanees. With Jota looking likely and CCV seemingly wanting to stay, this could be a huge summer window for us.

The break should do everyone good but particularly the Japanese boy's..

Think we'll see the best of all of them next season. Hopefully he improves his composure in the final third..

I wouldnt of said he doesnt have any technical ability either.
Some of his crosses he has played in for goals have been very good, especially on the run.
I think more than anything he lacks composure but I agree that I think he will develop as he continues settle into the team, language, style of football etc. hes done well for his relatively short time here.

Just a little bit of composure needed and he'd be a ridiculous talent.
