Agree and its probably unfair on him due to fact Kyogo and Hatate really hit the ground running.
Didnt think he was great on Saturday or at alloa either tbf

I thought he looked super quick in the Hibs game but not so much in the games since. Mate said the same on Sunday as well. Odd one.

Dont see a lot of them to know but both suprising seen as Balogun is in his 30s and injury prone and my only other real recollection of McCrorie is Dembele absolute doing him for pace at Hampden a few years ago when we pumped them 4 - 0

Interesting that you thought skill when watching his youtube vids.

For me, he looked raw technique wise but has good movement and insane pace, with the ability to come alive in the box. I never expected a silky player. So far we've seen glimpses of some of the latter 3 aspects.

    It's early doors, though.

Being fair Balogun just stepped right across him and played the man before running after the ball, the same happened tonight when he picked Gallachers pocket and he shoved him down and nothing was given.

He looks limited on the ball, sometimes a simple pass looks beyond him. He does have good pace and movement in and around the box but his finishing so far has been inconsistent. Other than the one he stuck away against Hibs he missed sitters at Alloa, one against Motherwell and snatched at the half chances he got tonight.

Early days and he’s still building up an understanding. He is still a useful player to have.

Hopefully he just needs a rest, otherwise I’m concerned.

Very fast but raw all over the shop in terms of being on the ball

His first touch lets him down. I thought he's gonna adjust it fairly quickly but it's still quite heavy and raw.

Top scorer in the J-League. He'll start scoring once he settles in.

Think he's gonna take time to settle to the physicality. More effective out wide so far

I think most of the posts have been pretty level-headed actually. We are a fickle bunch though.

I thought he was going to be a bit more powerful than what we've seen. Disappointed so far but very, very early.

He’s going to be frustrating and brilliant in equal parts.

Poor tonight but I think fans have high standards due to our other signings playing so well.

Hard one tonight playing there when nothing was going his way.

He will be an important player for the run in and big Jackie would have been a better option the night.

Meada is going to make a contribution for us.

His touch completely deserted him but thought his pressing was good tbf. Won the ball from nothing at one point that immediately put us on the front foot.

Just needs another goal or two to get him on his way.

Aye I said it before he came here from watching a few J-League games, expect Sunday league one minute followed by superstar the next. Today he put in his Sunday league, hopefully next week he’s a superstar.

Not every player hits the ground running, just needs more time to settle but he wont be starting once Kyogo is fit.

Honestly can't remember seeing him strike the ball well yet. Probably misremembering.

Although im pretty sure he didn't quite strike his opener too sweetly either even tho it nestled nicely in the corner

    Youre not.

I agree. He's not had too many clear cut chances tbh, just seems to have been a lot of running so far. I think he will come good but definitely more of a work in progress than a Kyogo etc.
