Who'd we sacrifice in midfield to get Jota
Maeda Kyogo and Abada in the front 4 of attacks?

Our balance obviously seems perfect right now and if it ain't broke don't fix it....but would love to see that 4 given a go.

 

Nobody I don’t think, rn can’t sacrifice McGregor or hatate and if you drop say Rogic/O’riley we will be missing our two best playmakers per say to play the killer ball into the forwards. Maybe. As ye said don’t if it’s not broke don’t fix it

 

Given the injuries Kyogo has picked up already for me it’s more a case of playing him or Maeda and even within a game you get run ragged by one for 60-70minutes and on comes the other.

Possibly you could play the both with Maeda of one wing but to do that I would have Jota as the other winger given his dribbling and how good he is on the ball. Abada is also improving here but like Maeda and Kyogo his real strengths are in his movement and finishing.

I actually hope Dembele signs a new deal and gets a chance to show what he has got as I think given his talent he could be another good dribbling winger option on the right.

I think Kyogo could do a job as one of the midfielders, his movement, link-up, touch, passing, vision is more like a playmaker than a winger where he's played when he's not been a striker.

 

Plays better through the middle but is still a nuisance on the wing because of his pace. He's a great out when we're struggling because of this.

Plays better on the wing than Kyogo, who should never play on the wing again.

 

Aye tbh it's very much a fifa formation wanting to go all out attack. Reality is there is very little cover in the center of pitch the

 

Yeah our system now is perfect I think suits our players down to the ground, no harm in rotating kyogo n Maeda through the middle rather than starting both. Imagine defending kyogo for 60 mins then having to mark Maeda for the last 30

Imagine being a defender up against Kyogo running you ragged for an hour, then seeing him finally go off only for Maeda to come on who is even faster...

The other way works as well, but I think we are more likely to see Kyogo start when he is fit again.
