Probably one of the most limited footballers I’ve ever seen.

Weirdly he will be the first name on the team sheet versus the Huns due to his work rate and I don’t disagree with it.

But for 90% of the games we play, he isn’t effective. Can’t beat a man, can’t use his pace against a low block, hardly ever produces good end product.

Once he loses his pace, he will be playing Sunday league.

Like abada he needs fed in bcoz the minute he needs to face his man his lack of technical ability is plain to see. If we had another option on the wing I'd maybe bench him and bring him on for kyogo through the middle about the 60 minute mark.

 

The LB is on loan from Liverpool tbf. Think he was rusty af too. Was a really bad performance.

 

Said it before a million times, but no amount of work rate and endeavour is worth the trade off for his lack of ability.

He’s a really poor footballer. Ironically, the one situation he’s good in is keeping their captain quiet, but it’ll likely be Palma up against him.

 

Been poor since his return from injury but this year up till then he'd actually improved his running with the ball.

He should be good against the huns even from the right, should be a wee bit more space and he will be up against Barisic or Yilmaz who don't defend well and Barisic is really stiff on the turn.

I felt he played well in our European games even from the right against Atletico and Feyenoord. He was torturing the Atletico left back I seem to remember by running at him and beating him.

 

Pointless against a team sitting deep and not attacking much. His two main strengths are running in behind or tracking back to win the ball.

 

Think he needs to play off the left today which is a bit of a headache as it will totally nullify palma if he has to play wide right.
