If he makes it back for the weekend at the diets that would be a massive boost. We have missed him enormously the past month.

Delighted he's back in the squad...

Sums him up he had to be reigned back from returning to quickly..

We've missed him a lot and so has Kyogo, kind of player who gets a lot thrown his way but when he's out you really miss what he brings..

Will be interesting to see if he starts or not but at the least it is great news to know he will at worst be on the bench tomorrow. We have missed him massively the past month.

Daizen’s natural thing is to run and work really hard.

“If you watch him on the training pitch, we see it every day. You guys see it on matchdays, but when he does on a matchday, everyone talks about his workrate and running and everything else, but it’s because of what he puts in every day.

“He’s an inspiration to all the players because they appreciate what he brings and what he does. If we get any young players that come up, we use him as an example. He’s an important player for us and, in the time he’s been out, we’ve missed him. It’s good to have him back.”

Good to have him back but wasn't really any better than Mikey J.

Thought he made a difference on the right for the first 10 - 15 mins but then drifted right out of it.

Folk making out he was Arjen Robben when he was injured lol. He’s back and just as pish as before. And yes I do know he’s got his uses in certain games. Will be handy on the 30th. But chasing a game playing v a packed defence? Hopeless, * touch and he’s just runs it out the pitch constantly.

He was slower than usual but I can forgive that until he’s had game time.

Lots more faith in him than most of the others

His technique was same as MJ’s but let’s not ever try and compare them in terms of work rate and desire. They’re on literal opposite ends of that scale.

There's games where he undeniably has his uses but today wasn't one of them although I would've genuinely played Hoopy over Mikey Johnston

Surprised no one commented here after today, I think him being on the pitch makes us play so much better even if he didn't perform very well.

He looked a bit injured too so I hope it's nothing bad.

Hes absolutely brutal imo. Like I said before has his moments and handy against teams when we don’t have all the ball. But games like today we need actual footballers. That’s why Palma was the difference, he and technical ability and with his accurate crossing and being able to beat his man is key against low blocks.

I have to agree, for all his effort and flat out running he missed a couple of sitters and gives the ball away constantly. There’s no doubt he troubles the opposition more than Forrest/Yang/Johnstone but i’d ship them all out

He's a shocking footballer, but he's definitely an absolute must in this team.
