    Looking at flights from Tokyo to Dubai and then Dubai to Glasgow(assuming that is his flight path) means he doesn’t get in until 11.30 tomorrow morning. I’d say that’s really really tight to make the game tomorrow night. But I hope I’m wrong.

    Even just 20 minutes of Daizen off the bench could be vital tomorrow. It gives us an attacking option that without Kyogo we otherwise didn't have.

    And the Hoops could be further boosted after Daizen Maeda raced back from Japan’s World Cup qualifying win against Saudi Arabia to declare himself ready to face Gers.



    Maeda played 22 minutes for his country on Tuesday morning – and jetted straight back to Glasgow.




    Daizen Maeda played 23 minutes so, I will wait and see how he feels in the morning.

    how much he sleeps on the flights is actually irrelevant.

    Im no stranger to the long hauls and they bust you.

    Air quality, BP changes, cramps, fatigue, it all * you.

    Id say he would be good for maybe 30 minutes, adrenaline carrying him through.

    But it would be madness to start him.
