Can’t dribble. * crosser. Woeful finisher. Can’t go by a man. Can’t trap the ball. Doesn’t protect the ball. Gets robbed constantly. Takes five seconds to make a decision. Often shites out of tackles and headers. Pathetic close control.

Completely braindead and absolutely nowhere near the level required to play for Celtic.

If we start games with players of his quality then we deserve all we get.

 

A junior player with a professional athletes engine.

 

The story of how he stayed on for the full 90 is gonna end up on an episode of unsolved mysteries one day.

 

One of the most lacking in the fundamental basics technically that you'll ever see today..

First touch always getting lost
Control in the main just disgustingly bad
Crossing and link up play a disgrace
Barely an attempt at stopping the ball for their goal

How he lasted the full game when needing a goal and sticking him over the other wing where he's even worse....is one of the most baffling and troubling decisions you'll see..

 

Incredible how a winger with almost no technical ability has made it this far. Either a back up striker or not in the team.

He only just about done enough in Ange's teams, and even in that system he'd have anonymous displays.

Under Rodgers system he looks atrocious, he's had one good game at ST in preseason and has looked abysmal in the rest.

He's a back-up ST, he can't be starting for us on the wings anymore.

 

The reason we won't ever be like Ajax is because of players like this.

Someone so lacking in technical ability would never be welcomed in an Ajax team, or indeed any team aspiring to be competent at European level football.

 

The abuse I took on here when he joined for highlighting the fact he can’t play football was unreal!!! It’s taken a lot of people a long time to realise how poor he is.

 

Given him a new deal sums up the height of our ambition. I love the guy but he's never a footballer. Useful in certain games but a player like Maeda should start 80% of our games on the bench.

How long ago was it that Rodgers said he wasn't a winger..

Yet here we are and he's still first choice.

 

That breakaway 3 on 3 and he launches it 50yards to there keeper sums this kid up. No composure good to bring on when defending a lead or maybe in a more defensive set up in CL but no for unlocking 10 men behind the ball

 

Done the exact same last week as well and took it away from goal when 50 hards to run in to and made the angle almost impossible..

That was utterly pathetic that attempt but let's be honest, how many times has he * a long pass or cross? Pretty standard..

A guy with his rapid pace should excel in moments like that today on the break. But he's that lacking in ability that you just have no confidence he'll execute the final pass..

 

Think that guy duk would be a good addition to our squad,seems strong and has a bit about him.

 

Need to sign a LW pronto a Maeda can cover ST, where he's 100% more comfortable.

no clue why he stayed on the pitch, I'm not sure anybody has one. He was awful. Forrest, Yang or Hacksa should have taken his place

 

Jota to him is a huge huge drop of in quality. Maeda does * all on the ball and he can hardly control it for a start never mind be the creative winger we desire. Has his uses still but won’t be arsed if he left tomorrow.
