    All the chat about him being second choice striker, domestically for me there’s no reason we can’t use 2 of Kyogo, Daizen and/or Oh and play them both central.

    Wouldn’t take that much of a tactical tweak.

    Starting to think we might see Daizen start quite a lot up top with Kyogo in behind in the 10. That's where Kyogo played when he came on the other day and has previous for it under Ange, not much mind. That could also solve the issue of needing another player for that 10 role to challenge/rotate with O'Riley. We'll obviously still see Kyogo up top a lot, but I think Rodgers might fancy the two of them together in that set up.

    I think we will see a few different formations under BR as opposed to Ange. Maeda is the perfect squad player because he can play a few different positions. Personally one of my favourite players the now.

    Play Kyogo just in behind him centrally and have them interchange. Kyogo’s movement combined with Maeda’s pace and press would cause teams nightmares.

    Rodgers obviously loves him. The big contract should have been the tip off, but then him starting up top and the way Brendan spoke about him after, you can tell he's a major part of his plans. Quite excited to see how we set up and change formation throughout the year, will definitely be a bit more flexibility like you say.

    I think that's what we'll see a lot of, mate. Especially in slightly more open games where we can hit on the break like against the huns or in Europe.

    Yeah defo mate. Not taking anything away from Ange but I'm really looking forward to us using different formations. Thought we were a bit predictable under Ange toward the end. BR definitely likes to use different formations in away games to home games.
