He's definitely showing wee signs that he's back up for it..

Did really well to get around his man and was unlucky his low cross was intercepted because that would have been a tap in for Mooy.

There's been a couple of times recently he's burst forward effectively, and it'd be nice to see more of that as he has a tendency to pass the ball backwards a bit too much.

 

TBH it was unlucky that the ball didn’t end up in the net as an own goal. There player didn’t know much about it and got so unbelievably lucky.

 

Hes had a hard time lately and he's pulling through. That shows great character and remembering he's young he's only going to improve. I like him. A great sub for coming on in games.

 

He showed up tonight..

He's had so much stick and rightly so for me but he's got baws on him to come back from it..

He's been slowly getting back to what we saw last year for a couple week's now..

 

Showed why he was, rightfully, ahead of Abada last season. He's a good player, might not be the most technical but he's still good.

 

Thought the big man was really good tonight. He thrives in games with a lot of space.

 

Looked sharp today. Positive signs

 

One of the bright spots tonight, he does so much for us off the ball especially getting back to help the defense as well.

 

Was OK at times but his reactions are * snail like. Running into folk and bouncing off them cause he just sprints towards the ball. I think he's absolutely pish.

 

His inclusion in the Japan squad will
hopefully get his confidence back.

He can be very frustrating, but when he’s on it he’s a huge part of the squad.

 

I think he's not properly used by his teammates. Play it deep every * time. Tactics should be for him to be always running in behind. He's not Jota so don't use him like him.

 

Disagree he was strong both going forward and tracking back. Both our wingers did well last night, game was last in the centre unfortunately.

 

That was a good goal tbf. Probably the most composed he's looked in front of goal.

Starting to look like the player that, rightfully, nudged Abada out the team last season. On his game he's a fantastic asset to have, was easily our best winger tonight.

He's 100% getting there. Looking more confident instantly when he's on..

That run, touch and finish was high class at that speed..

 

Delighted for him. Some of the criticism he received earlier in the season was poor from our fans.
