The fact the ran away celebrating when he put the ball in the net after being about 2 yards in front of anyone he could see in front of him summed him up, didn’t even look to the linesman like any normal player would, zero awareness.

 

He has lost ALL footballing ability, just a runner now.

 

I thought he was terrible today and this moment when he defended on the left ending up passing the ball straight into our box packed with StJohnston's players, made me fkn scream.
It was unbelievably idiotic.

 

And I don't quite see this legendary speed of his.
For me, he's got no future here...

 

Why he didn't just pass it to Welsh to boot it up the line I'll never understand, he's technically very average, he works hard but I just don't see anything other than that.

 

Guy is terrible, would rather forrest.

 

I've kinda wondered for a while exactly what he offers and think he's got away with murder for a long time, basically because the overall team performance has been so good.

Now we are having a sticky patch, the deficiencies are being highlighted.

I keep expecting him to kick on, but basically he just runs and does not much more.

He has no skill, no game awareness, doesn't seem to understand the offside rule and the odd time he gets himself in a decent scoring position, always seems to miss the chance.

 

He's looking out of sorts the now. Not writing him off though, I still like him and think he's actually a good player when on the top of his game - but on the form he's in just now...it's starting to hinder us a little bit.

 

He's a useful squad player.

At his best when the onus is defending, he can chase all day and make things difficult. The sort of player you bring on to see a game out against the Klan or in Europe.

That's it.

When the onus is on breaking teams down he just doesn't have the quality.

Shouldn't really be starting.

 

He should not be starting.

 

Impact player to come off the bench, that pass that out is under pressure for * sake, needs to be told boot it up the * park.

 

He's clearly massively struggling for confidence as well..

 

Wouldn't have him anywhere near the team right now.

 

Right off form, still not given up on him yet but he's * poor at moment.

 

Needs spell on the bench, nowhere near his best or even close go looking sharp. Forrest looked sharper on the ball.

 

He doesn’t seem to be running as much as he used to. I like Maeda but he’s not good enough to drop that from his game.

 

The pass back into the box was idiotic and I thought it was just so typical the one he was offside he finished really well, whilst he has been missing sitters of late.

One thing I did notice though he did make some really intelligent runs but the pass never came, he had also made some good movement on a number of occasions but Bernabei’s passing down the left wing in the second half for anything over 5 yards was really poor. He kept trying to * balls over their full back but hitting him in the middle of his chest.

His performance levels have really dropped off recently and it’s probably mainly down to confidence. He could really do with something happening for him.

I do feel sorry for him because he looks to have lost all confidence.

But talking frankly, he was absolutely rotten today and that’s been the story of his season so far.

On current form, I’d have him nowhere near the team. He genuinely isn’t contributing in any sense - he’s not a threat going forward and defensively he almost cost us a goal today.
