That rag should have been booted out of Celtic Park a long time ago. Nice to see the club growing a set though and tackling it.

It's not surprising that they've tried to incite hatred with that headline given that they once compared Fergus McCann to Saddam Hussein.........

You can't sit there and honestly say that Lenny is an angel either though mate. For all the respect and love I have for that man after everything he's been through and what he's done for our club, he tends to wind The Huns up more than the average Celtic figure would, eg, spitting on scarves and calling them "dirty orange *" on live television.

I'm not saying for one second that he warrants anything that's happened to him over the past few years, but he does tend to draw negative attention wherever he goes.

really? i know you're not saying it but that sounds like the old myth that "he brings things upon himself"; the death threats only started once he joined us, before then, apart from the shearer incident when he got booted in the head, he had a fairly quiet, largely trouble free career.

yes lennon is no angel but he's hated by the huns for the simple reason that he's irish and catholic, that's it. that the feeling is mutual is in no doubt. why should he respect people who assault him in the street, at work, or send him bombs?

Not surprising to wake up this morning and see the furor over this hate filled disgrace that is the Daily Record. I do have to say though even by their own standards if that is the word to use here this was really very provocative, dangerous and irresponsible.
Well done to Celtic for denouncing the rag and absolutely well overdue for our coaches to have nothing to do with them.

 

thats true, and can be said about everyone of us ( both sides ) but for a national newspaper to come out with this is totally unaceptable.

 

he's a fat *, no doubt he'll be passing the buck if he has the balls to answer a call about his paper's disgraceful conduct. which i doubt.
