The more I think about it the more perplexed I get.

I don't get what the Daily Record get out of this.

 

it dosn't matter that he's hated over there, we all know that. but for a so called impartial national newspaper to print a sport headline like that only to stir up contraversy on the eve of the 1st old firm game of the season after the abuse and DEATH-THREATS is at best an act of stupidity or criminal. i think there is a good reason to be mad about it, not for our sake but for the sake of N LENNON and his family. or mabye we should just ignore this sort of behavior by a national media outlet ? im sorry if you think im preaching here but i don't mean to, but i honestly think this is a very well thought out attempt to stir up trouble for the sake of a story for mondays headlines

 

From a staunch Labour newspaper that regularly mocks & belittles Big Eck and the SNP on a daily basis as they've done so for years? I don't expect them changing their tune, even if Salmond took it further.

The rag itself is littered with Unionists that clearly hold affiliations towards R*ngers to conjure up this disgrace of a backpage headliner the day before an Old Firm. And they're going on about getting rid of hatred & bigotry? They're setting it alight the *.

No doubt this is there to stir up hatred, I am surprised the police havent gotten involved as this will ramp up the atmosphere. After a week when everyone from both sides have been hoping for a game that is all about the football these morons go and do this.

Yesterday was my last copy,joke of a paper !

 

I guess the more I think about it the more annoyed I get. It is such a cheap shot at both sets of fans.

Hopefully the minority who buy yhis paper think twice.

 

Papers like this exist only to stir the pot and get stupid people would up. Whether it is about football, politics, social issues, celebrities, or anything else. I dont understand why anyone would read these then complain? I dont think I have bought a tabloid in my * life and I can happily live my life without knowing the idiot press are winding people up about.

yes your quite right. but in this case it's went beyond a rational debate between two diffrent points of veiw, if you read between the lines i think we can agree that this is purley provocation from the Nos 1 newspaper towards 2 sets of supporters, divided by religious ideas. and don't think for one second that the newspaper didn't do this for any other reason than to force a reaction from the moronic elements on both sides into a confrontation to report the next day on how ; the game of shame headlines. ; the old firm are once again in trouble. i could guess that the ordinary supporters from the other side will see this in the same light. once again i can only give my honest opinion on this, and that is to say that the daily record have set out to sell more copys by hopeing for a reaction wich in there eyes will bring once again the old firm to the front pages

I bhoycotted this paper after they showed Paul Lambert holding aloft the UEFA cup on the eve of the cup final V Porto.

Haven't bought it, or read it since, but that 'headline' is a disgrace, that's something like a poll that would be found on a Rankers forum.
