Exactly. for them to beat us 4-0 they'd have had to have played out their skin.
if someone has a great game against st mirren could you give them the same rating if they had a great game against barca?
It depends on the team you're playing against.

To me it makes no difference how the Daily Ger rates our players as long as they keep performing how they have over the last few games and they will get better when they become used to each other. Great to see NL has got it right with signings and that we can take our quality midfielders and revert them to full backs and not take anything away from the team. As for wee Jamie what a find 9.5 mill for Aiden and we have got a hungrier player who reminds me of the early Mc Geady days for nothing. Hail Hail the champions and remember what matters is US as fans are seeing great flowing footy again in Paradise.

These ratings are exactly what you would expect from a rag like this.
Their keeper hardly made any saves, most efforts that didn't go in hit the bar or the post.
He didn't even move for Ki's goal and this * gives him MOTM.
The Record always has been a joke.

Daily Record can not upset its readership

The Daily Record has alienated itself from a large portion of the Celtic support because of certain sports writers that have had sly digs and downright insulting digs at Celtic which have exposed them as closet huns. The papers circulation has fallen quite steeply over the years, it is no longer Scotlands best selling paper. The Sports writers now need to pander to their readership of which a large portion is Rangers fans. They will not risk upsetting the Rangers fans by criticising Rangers and praising Celtic, which could see their sales fall even further.
I used to buy the Daily Record everyday just because I always had since I was a wee boy. I didn't pay to much attention to the whole "Daily Rangers" thing at first. After a while I began to notice there was definitely an anti-Celtic and pro-Rangers slant put on alot of the stories, especially by certain journalists. I bought my last ever copy of the Daily Record when a vile caption appeared under a picture in the James Traynor column. It referred to a disgusting untruth about Jock Stein, Traynor claimed to have had nothing to do with it as he was not responsible for the photo captions. Personally I believe Traynor because I don't think he would be stupid enough to print something that offensive. However it shows the type of people that are working for that paper. I never bought it again.
Im not sure about the player ratings but the Daily Record has backed itself into a corner. They have to keep the Rangers fans happy, its too late to win back the Celtic fans. So don't be surprised to see more stories in the future that have an anti-Celtic spin put on them.
