Crosas should start in my opinion in front of Brown or N'Guemo!
I think Crosas and the new Korean could be a very good pertnership in CM!

I'd like to see Brown and Ki Sung Yong partnered.

He's getting better with a run of games but the mistake you can't legislate for, it was stupid.

To each his own mate :50:

The only reason I argue for Crosas to be paired with Brown is because of my understandings of Crosas and Ki Sung-Yong. From my research on Sung-Yong, he is described as "known for the accuracy and range of his passes, vision, set-pieces, and technique." He also became more well known after playing in the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada, where due to injuries in the Korea Republic squad, he was moved into a central defensive position. The following describes his success at this time: "His ability to play long accurate passes to the very mobile and speedy forward line of Korea Republic unhinged opponents time and time again. Because of this ability as well as his dangerous runs from deep, that many Korea Republic fans dubbed him the next Hong Myung-Bo, a legendary Korean defender."

After reading this, he sounds a lot like Crosas (who is also known for his accuracy and range of passes and vision), just a bit better. I feel if Sung-Yong and Crosas played together, the central midfield might be a little too defensive-minded. We need someone like Robson or Brown to partner Crosas or Sung-Yong; one defensive-minded midfielder with the ability to pick out passes both short and long, and one powerhouse midfielder, who will cover box-to-box and try to win tackles all over the pitch.

To some extent I agree with you on Brown, if we can sell him for good money, I would endorse that, so long as part of the money would go to bringing in a new attacking midfielder.

In my modest opinion Crosas is one of the most techically gifted members of the team and definitely the best passer. He always looks for the ball, rarely complains and almost never gives it away. In this instance, both centre-backs did nothing to clear it and let crosas take it when he was in a very poor position. Both CBs should have been more commanding and taken control of the situation when they were obviously best suited to do so. Crosas was simply trying to help them out and prevent a goal, yet sadly helped set it up.

this is how i imagined him to be bt in one of the interviews he did he said that he liked to get forward, instead of sitting, like gerrard, therefore hes more attacking guess wel see whn he comes

Good points made in a few posts ago AmericanCelt. Good to see a bit of intelligence on here. :50:
However from what I have seen of Ki he likes to get forward, link with the strikers and so on.
I feel that Crosas would then sit in the midfield but I think that he needs to toughen up a bit. Maybe N'Guemo would rotate with Crosas for certain games like Hearts away , Huns Away etc.
However it is a good problem to have and with Robson there that is 4 good, good players that is including Brown btw. :86:

How is everyone already putting Ki in the midfield from the start. This is the sort of things so many Celtic supporters err in, namely, unrealistic expectation. The player is young and has no time with the team. Crosas is also young, but is proving himself. To simply replace him in the first January match with a new player would probably only accomplish two things: Ki would be overwhelmed and Crosas' confidence would be shot. Let's slow down and see if the Korean is as good as advertised when he gets here. The Asian game is ALL about time on the ball and if you thought Crosas had a hard time adjusting to the more direct Scottish game then you are fooling yourself to think Ki will just slide right in. Let's use our heads, mates. We are winning, looking in good form with the players we have in the side now. To disrupt midfield on a whim would be a poor decision.

Just hype mate, relax. It's idealistic - we're talking about what we'd like to see. Let us be hopeful. Obviously we aren't Tony Mowbray, so none of our plans will be implemented.

I purely base my opinion of Ki on his international performances and the ones i've seen he has been brilliant. He was brilliant against Senegal recently and scored a goal. Ki has 18 games and scored 4 goals for South Korea. Dont know how many games Ki played in the qualifiers but South Korea were unbeaten in 14, So Ki playing when theyve been unbeaten could be just coinsidence but the performance's i've seen show that he plays a big part in them winning
