Did he really... I'm sorry I'm all for letting the man know our displeasure at how this all panned out but you can count me out if your idea is bringing about change by intimidation. No battle is ever really won by that kind of behaviour.

In 1994, apparently Celtic fans protested, and got the board to step down. I have no direct knowledge of these events, as I was 4 years old. But it shows that intimidation and force are solid options.

Well I was around then and yes the fans were very vocal and yes it did bring about change but things are should I say it are a little more civilised now. Nowadays we have other means to get our point across. Social media means that things can be better organised to have maximum effect. State of the art banners, vocal opposition and the ballot box are the way to go now.

Something has to be organized- passive tolerance just means further damage to the club. And fans chanting obscene things about Lawwell on every football game is something that would not be excessive, but would put pressure on him and the board.

Perhaps voting with our feet. The only language accountants understand is money and balance books. It will certainly happen that way if we start falling behind as the doomsayers are predicting. As for me I have a feeling things are going to be fine. I'm not buying into the doom and gloom. We will still win this league and now the board will be on notice that this screwup can't happen again. You can bet Brendan and his guys will be getting the head down to make sure it doesn't. They know that investors, sponsors etc have to have confidence in the brand. All of this has been a learning curve and Brendan will have got a lot from it. PL may or may not go...I doubt he will because he has got more right overall. But even he will have learnt something from this. The fans are no longer about to shut up and put up.

That will not happen if the fans don't put pressure on them. Regardless of how well we do in the league. Deila somehow won it, despite a horrible 2. season. Things aren't OK, regardless of domestic trophies.

Yeah but that's all they care about...that, money and the brand. They don't and won't really take into account emotional investment unless it affects any of these things.

This is why the board must be forced out, to be replaced by a new one, where the members should be picked based on their understanding of football as a sport. And based on their affection for this club.

I Dinnae like some of your posts does that mean i should kick your * in then, get a * grip man the clubs not exactly in crisis. Things aren't perfect agreed, some of the doom and gloom is unreal from people. Alot of the poison and bad vibes comes from fans going into a frenzy on social media over the least we thing. Filters right through the club.

That's a utopian point of view but it's your opinion and I respect that. The difference I have with you is how we go about it.

It's alright for Peter, if we fail then the obvious answer is just to sack Brendan and appoint someone else, let the manager take all the blame.

See- that has to be prevented. The more fans put pressure on the board, the more media will talk about the board's role in all this.

I can't believe some of what I'm hearing right now honestly, we've had an absolutely * window there's no getting around it, but the idea that we're "in crisis" and going to fall apart any second is pure hysterical spin from some folk on here, reads like a huns wet dream. The same people that consider winning the league at a canter under Ronny as a truly dark time, I suppose.

People are actually starting to talk Brendan Rodgers out the door, when Brendan leaves at the end of the season, if he stays that long bla bla. If Brendan Rodgers walks from this club well maybe not the Celtic man he say's he is. He's got the chance to ram it up that little turncoat * Gerrard, and doing the ten into the bargain will take him to legendary status, will also give him major props in the world of football. He's going nowhere!!

We promised him the move months ago. So much time to find a replacement and we failed.
