    Class.

Needs to work on his defensive side a bit still let a couple crosses in he shouldn’t.

I like gamboa overall, as noted he could be a bit better from a defensive point of view. But going forward he is dangerous. Add a bit of defensive steel to this one and I'll be really happy with our full back options. And to sound like a broken record, just sort out CBS

He was a breath of fresh air at right back, today. Staked his claim for a place and should keep it.

How could he get a song after 2 assists, yet James Forrest can’t get one after a POTY candidate season last year??

Brendan must see what he offers over Lustig ? Dropping him for Lustig now would be criminal on Rodgers’ part.

Had a very good game today, but..

This was Partick Thistle. There has been more occaisions when his positional indiscipline has been highlighted than just the games mentioned. Rosenborg at home being another.

I hope he can kick on and put in more displays like today. But the real test will come against stronger sides.

Gamboa: Brilliant going forward. Not 100% convinced defensively yet.

Lustig: * going forward. Not convinced defensively.

Jusy in general, his positioning can be well off. Think it’s because he’s that quick it’s something he’s never really needed to concentrate on. He can be caught sleeping, like Rosenborgs goal against us where he left the left back to run off him into the box.

He’s our best option just now though and he is a threat.

A new right back is still paramount, but he should be starting over Lustig now.

He’ll still drop Gamboa, he’s several cracking performances like that the 2 past seasons then gets dropped for the pensioner.

Not a chance he will be dropped for Lustig unless he is injured.

BR: “Cristian did great. He comes in and had great forward running and great delivery on the cross.”
