He is lightning quick and I think I'd take to him more if he really went for it more often, as he did at times today. Was involved in a number of attacks and played well in the 1st half particularly. Mentioned that point a few posts above as well, been a few times where he reaches a certain point up the park and turns back. Playing it a bit safe at times.

It is more the defensive side of his game where I have doubts.

Said in the match thread but you can tell he's never gave a * about positioning because he's rapid enough to recover :56:

He's good enough but not Lustig good but good enough

Didn't see the game but hearing mixed reviews of his performance. Some saying he was poor and couldn't cross anything, others saying he was good and made some nice crosses :giggle1:

He put in an absolute beauty of a whipped cross in the first half, maybe two actually, but his cut backs from the by line across the ground were poor.

I thought he was amaazing. A really exciting prospect with that speed of his because he can go past players as if they're not there. I think that ability will also prevent opposition full backs from venturing forward too often as they'll be scared of leaving him that space. He could do with getting his head up before he makes cut backs but that'll comes with games. He's been out for ages.

I don't want to see Lustig replaced but I really want to see more of Gamboa because he could become something special once he creates an understanding with the team.

I just don't know how he's going to fit into it though.

I don't know what to make of Gamboa. I really want to love him but I'm not convinced he's good enough

Behave yourself Calum Paterson is a striker who plays right back I would be near tears if he was signed for Celtic he's mince! Gamboa has pace, his crossing is streaky, positionally I like him but last night his passing was a bit off although so were a number of players. Don't think it's fair to judge him just yet.

I don't know what to make of him,he looks like a bit of a fearty to me and not good defensively and dont think he does enough going forward, tons of space to run past Roberts last night and never done it anywhere near enough. lustig is easily a better fullback.

I think he's like a right sided Izzy. Needs work on the defensive side but quite good going forward. Possibly MOM for me last night

    Looks more comfortable anyway.

Think it'll be a while before you see the best of him if he does manage to get a run of games.

Still early days. Not expecting him to properly challenge Lustig though.

Wee man has two solid performances in a row under his belt. Can't ask much more, took Armstrong a fair bit to settle into life at Celtic. Sometimes we expect newbies to hit the ground running. Not possible all the time.
