He seems to try really hard, that's always something that makes me like a player. He's like the AntiBiton who has talent but doesn't look as though he can be arsed

Did okay last night, done the simple things right and as mentioned won a free kick which led to a goal. Looks like he's a bit low on confidence though, his main attribute is obviously pace rarely uses it...

Was solid enough. He's definitely playing within himself though you can see it.

From the limited amount of times I've seen him down south he's very much a front foot, attacking, full back who likes a tackle.

So far he's played it very safe at Celtic.

Aye I said that last night as well, @PaulM1888

I think he looks afraid to really let go with that lightening pace of his.

Was much more involved 2nd half and that was a cracking interception in the lead up to Griffiths goal. He certainly suits Rodgers style anyway I'll say that much.

He's frustrated me, He always plays it backwards. Also lost his man for their goal but why he was the one marking a centre half in the first place I'll never know.

He did well for Griffs goal though

I think that's down to his first few performances at Celtic, he came out all guns blazing and was all over the place.

Im the same view as @TheHappyLoss there is something a like about the guy, hopefully he settles with some game time and proves me right.

For a guy at 27 he hasn't actually played a lot of football.

Yet to hit 200 career games.

Good chance for him to get a run of games at home.

Thought he was at fault for both their goals yesterday (offside one too)

His height is a slight issue. Especially if he's gonna be marking *'s double his height in the box :56:

Showed good signs the other night though. His pace is frightening and if he can use it wisely as he did for Griff's goal, then we've got a very useful player....Lustig is still number 1, but where he get's caught out with pace now and again, Gamboa doesn't. Lustig is still the more rounded player though. Better positioning, better aerially, better passing etc..

I still think he's not had enough game time to get into a flow and makes it too early to make a decision about if he will end doing well or not

No doubt Lustigs the better player. But like you said, Gamboa gives us another solid attacking fullback down the right. His defending has looked a bit unconvincing so far, but as many have already stated, he's barely played and needs a decent run of games to get into his stride. I think he'll be fine.

Yeah just as bad as Lustig in that respect but he's hardly played so just needs his confidence up and you saw as the game went on further the more confident he got getting forward and making good runs.

Their goal and chopped off goal was * organisation, both centre backs front post and had the smallest guy on the pitch marking the biggest guy was madness :giggle1: it looked zonal marking which everyone hates.

Have seen enough now to say I don't really rate him.

Hasn't showed anything defensively and going forward is very average. Only marginally better than Janko.

    Positionally he is pretty poor.

I think a good winger would have a field day against him, personally.

Hopefully he starts the next couple of matches so we can get more of an idea as to how good or not he is.

He played well today. Very dangerous going forward but his cut backs were poor, kept going straight to Dundee players. Defensively he obviously relies on his pace to bail him out because he isn't great in a positional sense.
