McBride to the MLS side Chicago Fire. He has a home there and said he wants to retire in the US. Wouldn't mind him in the hoops as a super sub for Skippy and Big Jan, but don't see it happening.

Anderson will not be coming to park head. Why would Ferguson loan one of his top prospects to get the * kicked out of him in Scotland. Not a shred of truth to it.

IF this hasn't been established with a source, why is it still open?

Mcbride must be about 35/36, good honest pro. But his best days are behind him, think we can do better.

Well it's not the first time I've heard us being linked with Anderson, hey, why not? I can see him coming for a year loan no probs. Wether or not he would be able to get in the team is a different matter. Aye he's maybe better than some of our players, but would you like to see him there for a year then back to what we have? I can see us getting him, but Strachan will pick and choose when to play him.

Fergie wants him to step in for Scholes in my opinion and therefor he needs more first team experience, so why not a team where he's under pressure to win and to perform in the Champions League? It makes perfect sense to me.

    I'd take McBride over Samaras

Exactly it makes no sense, he's seen as the replacement to Scholes and will be getting more and more games next season. He played both of the Champions League 1/4 final games against Roma and came on in both semis and in the final.

He also had a huge part to play when Man Utd beat Arsenal 2-1 coming off the bench to change the game. Man Utd fans love him, Sir Alex loves him and if people check articles for best Prem signings in the 2007/2008 season he'll be in amongst there.

the guy is 36 nest week. That is ridiculously old for a striker although I have to take my hat off to the guy for still playing at the top at that age. I think he is a very decent player but I would only take him on a one year contract if we were skint but were not so I wouldnt.
