WHY ???? blame the board and DD, i think theyve done a good job over the last few years and try to back the manager to the hilt while keeping the club in a healthy financial state, if it aint there you cant spend it can you ??. Dont get me wrong they aint perfect but no board of any club is. If TM had bought some decent players who could handle life in the spl we wouldnt be in such a weak position. TM is the only man to blame for where we are now, Dumpling wi no tactical knowhow

The club have backed managers consistently within whatever budget has been set. This is legitimate business practice. Our problem has been that we had a manager who used his budget in such away that he was sacked. The board got it right, they backed their manager and then let him go when it became obvious that he had spent unwisely. Neil Lennon is now working with his predecessors mistakes until a transfer window allows change. The blame attached to the board or CEO is only with regards to the mistake that was made in recruiting BTM,

Can honestly say a MULTI BILLIONAIRE can get skint rapidly? One months interest could buy a * minted player and to keep making more and more money is jsut plain * greed.

We al fork out a small fortune just to make it to see absolute dross. Aye Billionaires might plow millions in but at the end ofo the day will they miss it?

If you can bail out a small country's debt and still hve enough for a domino's then you're a greedy so and so.

Not saying I'm notgrateful btw, love what he has done for Celtic. I just don't get fifly richness

Bang on - the board didn't get their first choice manager. They settled on Mowbray and then did what many boards lack the guts to do - they backed his decisions. When he * up beyond the point of tolerance they bagged him. So far, can't see what's wrong with what they did.

Lennon was there through all of this and now that he's trying to clear up the mess on the playing field he gets pelters from the usual suspects because he voices support for people who have publicly underwritten their confidence in him. Jeeziz - why do people listen to Nicholas... I bet they're the same people who buy / read the Daily Ranger.

yes but the point is the 1.5 billion isn't just cash lying in a bank account somewhere - its assets etc. The point is that he isn't going to put that money into Celtic because its a waste of money to him - he won't ever get it back. He has already sanctioned a large amount of money to help Celtic over the years

    I agree

I agree .The board have invested a fair bit of money. Mowbrays reign as manager was brutal. We need to get a grip and realise it is not our divine right to win the league every season. We have consistently spent about 6 million every season which im afraid is as good as we can expect . Back the team and stop the moaning
