Can't see him playing again after that, but hopefully he does make a full recovery. A horrible way for a career to end if he doesn't.

That’s awful, hope he recovers quickly but hard to see him playing again. Not his biggest fan but you wouldn’t wish that on anyone. Christmas time too devastating.

 

Watching the replay it’s a weird one as he kind of goes into a fetal position as he blocks the ball don’t actually see where the leg snap happens in the replay

Pretty sure it's fletcher going to kick it and catches him.

 

Usually your legs need to be planted for that to happen though that’s why I’m confused by it his legs were in the air when fletcher kicks them

Example larsson leg buckled because was caught on ground and weight of guy and momentum behind him

Absolutely horrific and could not wish that on any professional much less a former Celt and top servant.

if there was a bright side, I would say that at least it happened in the twilight of his career and not in his prime or as a younger player. If it is to be the end of his career, we can categorically say that Craig has had a very good innings, a fantastic career that most players in Scotland would covet. Playing for his boyhood team and winning a Scottish cup with them, being, for a time, the most expensive keeper in history, playing in the premier league, playing for your nation and representing them at a major tournament and making history as an invincible and treble treble winner at one of Europe’s most iconic and storied clubs. Not bad at all. That said, hope the big man makes a full recovery.
