Craig Gordon

He was good for us but he really has always divided the support with his views on everything.

 

I always thought he was decent enough but i'll say that about any keeper that makes a save after growing up with Rab Douglas being our goalie. Forster came and blew Gordon out the water.

 

Scoring last minute winners at Tynecastle and seeing the only one on the bench utterly devastated......this square shouldered mug..

Listening to him torturing my ears during pre season on Celtic TV and slaughtering our play and any mistakes was utterly bizzare and summed up what a complete and utter * this diddy * is..

 

Think he was decent for us over all, but can’t stand him. Always felt he had no affinity at all for the club and fans despite the club resurrecting his career. Obviously the up for the corner thing and Eduardo pen reaction didn’t help.

 

An irrelevance..

 

He was hilariously overrated for us. Folk used to openly say he was better than Boruc and Forster.

Rodgers shouldn’t get all the blame for our European hammerings, as this clown was a joke in most of them.

But proper questions, which ex-player is the bigger *: Craig Gordon or Jack Hendry?

 

Craig Gordon seemed the more bitter towards us, Hendry is currently bitter at Brugr for dropping him. Both grade a * though.

 

Couldny care if he's a *, shoulda kept him.

For back up, better than Bain.

 

He was offered a contract to be here. He wanted to be first choice and he wasn't good enough.

 

He came out in the press and said something like, Celtic need to do better with their offer.

 

He got offered s contract to sit on our bench, that was worth more than what St Mirren or Hearts offered(paying).
end of the day, it wasn't really about the money, it was about putting the boot in to us.

He knew he wasn't first choice any more, so what was he really expecting from us? A handsome pay deal to fleece the club and do * all for it?

Bitched that he wanted more money from Celtic, then goes on to accept less from hearts.
A bit odd to then * about us.

If he had any decency or respect for himself (which we know he doesn't for the number of times he blamed his teammates), he'd just say "I'm not ready to play backup, I wanted assurances in game time" and not the nonsense about the money on offer.

Being backup hurt his rather inflated ego..... and after everything I've done for them....

He's that type.

On a side note, he also binned his Mrs and 2 very young kids quick, sharp to shack up with the Celtic TV presenter. There's only one person that matters to Craig Gordon and that's Craig Gordon.

I find him extremely unlikeable.

 

I was in the middle of writing this exact post.

The guy is an egomaniac.

The funny thing is Hearts love him but he’s absolutely raging it’s the only club that would take him. He clearly thinks they’re beneath him and is desperate to be at a big club like Celtic.

Never in his puff has he been at Fraser Forster or Joe Hart’s level and his ego won’t allow him to accept it. Same as it won’t accept the ball was over the line the other day in a 4-1 hammering.

 

People forget that Bain won his place from Gordon, and people were very happy with it.
