Is it safe to say we can move on from this target now and go for somebody else? We desperately need a striker to fill the 6 week absence of Hooper...we're not going to get it here, there is no way what we have up front is good enough, if we actually had a striker in the Caley game we would have one by a greater margin. Finger oot and get on the trail of someone new!

 

Bellamy said a few months back on the sky sports news website that the only team he would go to now is cardiff city if he ever left man city

Apparently Man City dont want him to go to Cardiff and woud prefer a deal with us, Cardiff can't offer much in the way of wages or loan fees since they are heavily in Debt. And SSN is saying that we had indeed agree to a deal with Man City and that it was only waiting for bellamy to agree to it.

 

Exactly mate, Fortune should be used as a winger, his pace and technique and strength for holding up the ball is coming on a treat and his final ball is possibly better than what Aidens was...Sammy however is a lost cause, I don't think he merits a place anymore. Definitely, just come out and say it, put all the speculation to bed and say where you want to go, leaving teams in limbo is pretty selfish, we don't even grudge him for wanting to be with his family. If i was Ledley and Bellamy talked up a move to celtic for him i would be sitting wondering why he is jumping at the chance to come back to us and going to the club that Joe wanted out of i know its his team and closer to his family but surely you would still be thinking why hes not.

 

Bellamy is what 31? With a child, he said he's missed his kids last four birthdays or something. Joe is a 23 year old with a girlfriend...hes still a young lad. Dont think theres much in that.

I really do not think that this deal is dead. I dont for one minute think that Bellamy will go to Cardiff as there is more for them to worry about.

They have just survived to winding up orders in the last month and are on the verge of another transfer embargo.

I think if we are the only club to have agreed a deal then there is still a huge possibility that he will come here
