Monday cut Craig Bellamy’s odds to 2/1 (from 7/2) to sign for Tottenham following comments from Spurs manager Harry Redknapp that he would like to secure the services of the Welsh international.
Celtic remain the 6/4 favourites to sign Bellamy with Fulham next best at 7/4.
Sky Bet’s Tim Reynolds said: "Bellamy would be a great addition to Redknapp’s squad but with the Spurs boss needing to offload players before he makes any signings, we feel that Redkanpp may miss out on the Welsh international to either Celtic or Fulham."

 

Wow. Think we might be in with a shout if Man City don't name him in their 25 man squad. He said he might retire, but after that he goes on about playing football being important to him. He also turned down a move to Wolfsburg because Germany was not for him. He would definitely make our starting squad and we know he enjoyed it here, here's hoping...

 

I would agree in regards to beyond the old firm the championship is stronger. Celtic and Rangers are better than anyone in the championship at the moment.

 

there is no way he will retire , you gotta think from his point of view , he s just off the back of one of his best seasons ever and man city dont want him , its a major kick in the teeth for him and someones gain (hopefully us ) will be there loss !

 

bluebird, obviously the standard of football won't bother him if he's considering playing for Cardiff ffs. I mean, really, who are they? they are pish that offer nothing to the guy. not yet anyway..... maybe in a few years. he could come here, be an instant fan-favourite, like at Cardiff but get paid more money with win bonuses almost every week, win medals AND have the chance to play in Europe every year.
