WalesOnline - FootballNation - Wales Football - Craig Bellamy determined to prove his point for Wales

“I feel more in the way than anything, I felt from everyone at the club that I’ve been pushed aside – and I’ll remember that.

“I want to stay there, but it’s about seeing what happens. Am I going to sit there for six months, training with the reserves, or do I go?”
But to where? He would not rule out Cardiff, and admitted a foreign move would prove problematic. Fulham?
“If you look at my form under Mark Hughes, I don’t just become a good player, I become one of the top players in the Premier League – that’s a fact. He gets a level out of me that Bobby Robson did, so do I want to play at that level. Definitely.
“I just have to look at every option I can, weigh up what’s best for me and my family, but it’s simple – if I get in the 25-man squad I don't have to do that because I can play football for the club I want to play football for.”

Caution, about to psycho-analyze a player!

Ummm didn't want to hear that bit about playing for Mark Hughes. Also, if you consider the "I'll remember that" line.. if City betray him, he WILL have an axe to grind. So playing for Fulham will put him under a manager he believes gets the best out of him, and in a position to at least face off against Man City. Knowing his persona a bit, can see a vengeful streak in him. Suspect wages wouldn't be an issue. Seems a likely scenario.

But I'd rather dream. City refuse to sell him to Fulham, he comes here, and we beat Man City in the Europa Lge Final on a Bellamy hat-trick. I CAN'T WAIT! lol

i dont think at the time they knew they were gonna get 10 mil for mcgeady !
i think this could be a transfer deadline day deal like keane was !
regardles i hope he does well where ever he goes , unsung hero for many clubs and its a * disgrace the way man city are treating him !
he was by far one of man citys standout players last year and this is how they treat him !
come to celtic craig youl be more than appreciated here !:celt_2::shamrock::celt_2:

See to be fair these markets don't take a lot of money to fluctuate - However, the sheer lack of signals coming out of either camp makes me think that there must be at least something going on behind the scenes. It would take more than a few small punts to put it at 1/3 - especially at Sky Bet which has the biggest market for these types of bet. I don't think he will go to another prem club. Cardiff CANT afford anywhere near even a third or quarter of his wages. It could be on - only on loan though.

id be happy wiv a loan but with the wage budget slashed and a big intake of cash i reckon we can get him on a 2 year contract ,
bellamy for 4 million and timo hildebrand for free , so 6 mill left to fix defense , sounds good to me !:50:

The odds are due to the amount of money being put on it, not any inside info.
