I'd gladly see Aiden out the door if this is who we were bringing back in. How much are City wanting for him? Can't be much more than 6/7 Mil.
Might be able to lure him back and still have some leftover to strengthen. You never know...

I said this was going to happen ages ago...but was scoffed at by Celtic fans.

Once Aiden goes, the move is on to buy either Bellamy or Keane. Morelikely to be Bellamy as he wants to come back - the guy really loves Celtic.

A number 7! Not to put a downer on this but a LB, GK and a CB are still badly needed!

wouldnt be keen on buying Bellamy, yes to a loan deal. He'd have no resale value and his wages would be sky high, plus we'll need to stash 3 million aside for when aidan gets home sick in 18 months time and we take him back from moscow.

all we need is a defensive left back, i'd settle for that and nothing else, i'd say 70% of goals from 2 braga matches, Lyon and Arsenal came from our left flank.
shore up at left back, let the centre backs Hooiveld, Misun and Rogne get some confidence playing together and we'll be fine.

i think he is exactly the player we need. he played at left mid for man city last year and thats where id play him for us. he was unplayable in alot of games last year would be another piece of the jig saw hope this happens but i doubt it.

Let's be honest,, what a great smuther for our failure to go further in the champions league,, "Lennon wants to bring bellemy to parkhead",, this whole story is a * smoke screen. We can't afford hs wages no matter how you do the maths!!. When he was here he stated he couldn't stay at celtic because this was going to be his last big money move,, What does that tell me GREED,, so he wont come back here!! even if he went to championship he will get more money!! The man has only one thought HIMSELF

M We could just about pay his transfer fee, however that would limit other signings.
But City won't sell him to spurs we could offer half the amount spurs are offering and be more likely to sign him. But we won't get him sorry i just can't see it happening he'd half to quarter his wage, why would he do that. He said he enjoyed his time at the club, but i can't imagen him coming back. But C'mon Bellers Prove Me Wrong!.
Also why are we only going for him on Loan.

Spurs offered 8 millions, and I doubt our board would want to throw all the money we get from mcgeady towards him, hopefully though, Man city wont want hm going to a rival and will loan him to us we could pay half the wages and its not like they need the money anyway

Lets understand something here. A loan deal for Bellamy is not out of the question. Man City have money to burn and they are not bothered about wasting it. I think they would happily loan him to us for no fee and let us pay around 40k a week and they stump the rest.

They let Robinho go without receiving a loan fee. They also paid the bulk of his pay packet and it is somewhere near the 180k mark.

I do think that Lawell is talking to City to try to broker a deal and I think that Bellamy would be happy to come for a season.

I'm sure that if the board can afford it then they will sanction the deal and back the manager
