Could we take spurs over 2 legs right now?

If we don't get through against them then we really don't deserve to play Eurpean football.

 

Of course we * could. We're Celtic, and at home in Europe there is absolutely no one we cant beat. Would things go our way, would we grind out a draw in London? Maybe not. But if we WOULD, and if we COULD, are two very different things.

you ask of Spurs at present i don't think we can beat Rangers over the 2 legs realistically Rangers can and do score goals,
just now, unless things change, we will struggle for goals.

 

* spurs ,i hope we meet them at some stage and send their over-rated over-paid epl players crashing out,
bale and van der vaart are class other than them i would have no worries about facing them plus youve always got to fancy your chances of scoring past gomes

christ its gloomy in here. apart from barcelona - we would give any team a game over 2 legs. sure we would be underdogs against spurs. sure we'd need some luck/inspiration but we could do it -it's not unthinkable

Usually i would fancy Celtic against any team in Europe but i cant help but think the European nights we had in the past are exactly that.. the past.

Ever since daft * took over after Strachan we haven't had a great European night hopefully Lennon can change that.

Im usually VERY optimistic when it comes to Celtic but I think Spurs would beat us comfortably. Our team is set up to attack against crap teams in the SPL & if we tried to play Spurs in an open game we'd be murdered. I couldnt see this team playing like Rankers & putting 10 behind the ball.
Having said all that, anything is possible.
