dunno if this is in the right place, if not sorry but i just ordered a new phone there, might sound ancient here but its the 1st time getting a contract phone, was just wondering. does the phone come with a sim, the reason i ask is because when they confirmation came through via email that i had purchased it there was a bit saying "if you have ordered a sim or any other blah blah...it will come later" so do you get a sim with it or is the sim got to be purchased seperatly?

Yep gerard covered it but I'll just add don't freak if the phone comes without one, the sim is usually delayed, in fact mines tool so long last time I ended up just going to my local o2shop for one!
