To win player of the year as a keeper is phenomenal. Keepers only win if if they are crazy good in all honesty, otherwise they give it to a striker 99% of the times.

Thought Barkas was in Holland? What's he doing hanging around with Conor?

Ross County are looking to seal a loan deal for Celtic’s Conor Hazard, writes Scott Burns.

Malky Mackay wants to take the Northern Irish international to Dingwall for the second half of the season.

Hazard has just come back from a successful season-long loan with HJK Helsinki.

The Staggies want to bring in another keeper to add competition and injury cover in that position.

Hazard recently had his Celtic contract renewed to the summer of 2024 before he headed to Finland.

The 24-year-old has previously had loans at Falkirk, Partick Thistle and Dundee.

Get him to Aberdeen, they need a keeper more with the first choice out for the season and Joe Lewis just looks past it now

Conor Hazard turned down the chance to leave Celtic for a move to Ross County on deadline day, writes Scott Burns.

The Staggies had agreed a loan deal with Celtic but the keeper decided he wanted to remain with the Hoops.

The Northern Irish international is behind Joe Hart, Benjamin Siegrist and Scott Bain.

He decided to stay put rather than head to the Highlands for the rest of the season.

Hazard had a successful loan spell at HJK Helsinki last year.

The 24-year-old could still move if an emergency loan comes up between now and the end of the season.

Hazard could also move to other clubs where the transfer window is still open. He still has another 18 months left on his Celtic contract.

Must have been going in as a back up keeper or else that makes zero sense

The only thing i can think of why he would turn that down is if there may be another option from a league where the window hasn’t shut yet. It makes no sense to sit and rot here for another 6 months.

Given his success in Finland I wonder if a Swedish or Norwegian team may fancy signing him.

He's played at a higher level now and had several loans at that level. He's spent a good part of the last 4/5 years out on loan.

Can see why not going there makes much difference to his career. Probably knows he's going at the summer and looking to concentrate on that or maybe just thinking he wants to be part of the main setup up to the point he goes.

No really mate, he’s played lower league and 30 odd games for HJK. If he was going in first choice in an SPFL club it would be majorly helpful.

He’s 24 and has had 88 career games. Not the worst for a keeper but game time at this stage is * crucial rather than sitting on the bench, but if its 2nd choice at County or 4th here learning off of Hart and co then aye, sensible from him.

Both still have 2 months left and Finnish 3 months. All 3 leagues start in April so wouldn't be surprised if he heads off in the next 3 or 4 weeks.

From memory has he not been at Dundee a couple of times, Thistle and Falkirk plus one other than HJK? Might be misremembering.

So 5/6 loan spells - granted some would only be half a season.

Anyway I reckon @Foley1888 had a more convincing argument so my points not really that important.

Falkirk, Thistle and Dundee who he played 11 games each for.

And HJK. So 4 all in.

https://www.fotmob.com/players/766617/conor-hazard says Dundee twice and appears to have a few more games for the other 2 teams. No other team unless you count Celtic ones.

Did think one of the Dundee stints was SPFL but might not have been. Anyway hopefully he gets a Scandi team soon.

Plymouth are closing in on a six-figure deal to sign Conor Hazard.

The newly-promoted English Championship outfit have agreed a fee, with future add-ons, with Celtic. The Northern Irish international is keen to kick on with his career and to get regular first-team football. The 25-year-old has come through the Celtic academy and has been at the club for nine years. Joe Hart, Scott Bain and Benjaming Siegrist are all ahead of him for the gloves at Celtic. Hazard was a final hero when Celtic lifted the 2019-20 Scottish Cup.

The majority of his playing time at Celtic has come via loans away from the Scottish Premiership champions. Hazard has had domestic loans at Falkirk, Partick Thistle and Dundee twice. The goalkeeper also had a successful loan in Finland with HJK Helsinki last year - where he was named the league’s top shot-stopper after helping the club to the league title.

Good move for him, and right for us to be letting him away properly, get a decent wee sell in in there too I'd say, never likely to be a superstar but I reckon he will have good career as a dependable Keeper in at that level.
