He reminds me of craig gordon, he's huge but his attempt at their 3rd was powder puff, he doesn't look anywhere near the standard to be our number 1. Big Forster if he's interested is what's needed.

If that's the case then he did alright for his debut.

I don't think he should be playing in our next game however, which is a bit harsh.

Saved the penalties in the end and that's what matters most today, but he has a lot of development ahead.

Mistakes were brutal but to his credit made up for it.

He was clearly fouled for the second, though I agree he should be stronger.

Naismith clearly obstructed him. Surprised (I'm not) Beaton never saw it(missed quite a lot today), given he spoke to him and eventually booked him for an incident with Hazard.

Composed himself in the penalty shoot-out and done the job.

Don't think he looked great and may not be a long-term option but came up with the goods for the penalty so fair play.

To be fair to the bhoy we have not exactly helped with his development. At the age of 22 he should be the number 2 playing the cup games and pushing for the number one spot. We shouldn't be hanging our hopes on a kid pulled out the youth team cos our 2 first choice keepers have been *

Delighted for him on a personal level.

But I'd worry about him starting at the Nuremberg arena.

I genuinely have no qualms about this boy I think other than the third goal the goals he has conceded have been out with his control possibly the hearts first goal.i think Fraser saves that however now is not the season to experiment and I would go get Fraser back in January and punt barkas and Bain and make this boy number two. He's confident and looks assured commanding the defence

Exactly what I was coming in to say, missed it during the game. Wee * Naismith should of been sent off as well several times.

3rd goal he is weak but the defending is shocking as well as Christie giving away a pointless foul.

I loved his attitude after the pens aswell. The way he acted after the saves and FT looked like he was just saying that’s me making up for making a bit of a mess in the game. Didn’t do that much wrong bar their 3rd. Moi backwards header wasn’t tidy and when he came rushing out that happens to all keepers.

We have three keepers and not one is a good keeper so a big decision to be made on January and bring in a number one keeper and either put hazard out on loan to get more game time or punt either barkas or bain .

That would be ideal scenario, would have to take a hit on Barkas.

Does anyone think he should have done better with first goal?
Looking at it again, he seems to delay diving for a fraction of a second.

Beg to differ m8. I thought he looked shaky throughout the game and only redeemed himself at the penalties. Wouldn't rule him out however, needs loads of coaching before I would be comfortable with him and, as you said, we need to be looking at getting a quality keeper in asap
