    Their FA are a disgrace not hiring a manager with any sort of credentials, their current manager is a former Sheffield United midfielder with a couple of years managerial experience FFS.

    I haven't seen them in a few years now so dont hold me to it but from what iv'e read supposedly they have finally clicked, the new manger has found a role to bring out the best in Messi, they have some good youngsters coming through as well as the players you mentioned, it's in South America and Spain are obviously not as good as they were, thats not an overreaction that is the truth, you simply cannot be so good for so long

    I reckon the spanish style has become predictable and easier to read and thus when up against teams who have equal ability to a degree i.e Barca/Bayern and now Brazil/Spain tactically easy to work around

    Hoping for a semi final line up with ,Spain,Germany,Brazil and Argentina, Spain beating ze Germans an Argentina beating Brazil in the other semi.

    If u take away Julio Cesar's 2 gd saves,Pedro's off the line an the penalty miss ,would be a diff game,Brazil deserve this tbh.

    Got to just repeat it about Lawrenceson(sp) the man is a *, he just annoys me so much

    But on a serious note at their best they are still the best and by some distance. There are far more factors than simply they are getting easy to play against tactically.

    Taught about that myself but i think they lack a cutting edge, madness to be saying that about a team with Xavi and Inestia in midfield, but i think they need to promote Isco into the team.
    Dont think they system is wrong as all the youth Spain teams play the same way and they seem to win every tournament they play in.

    This is the frist time I have seen Spain outplayed, teams have done a job on them in the past through good defending and tactics but they have actually been outplayed tonight
