Neither of those two will beat Spain.

I didn't expect that score. Japan always give Brazil too much respect. I don't rate this current Brazil team compared previous Brazilian teams. I really don't think they are even in the top 5 in the world but today they did show some promise.

I don't think they are very good myself, they have young players with potential but Spain have guys who are at their peak and are out and out superstar football players, Brazil would need 5 or 6 of the current team to elevate themselves to a whole new level in the next year or players like Kaka return to the form of old, neither the two of them look like happening

I'd say Thiago Silva is their only real superstar.

    Sad really.

Some of Germany and Spain's subs would walk into their side.

I think people are seriously underestimating the talent of this Brazil side, ok none of them are ballon d'or winners like Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and Kaka, but they have immense talent and coach in Luis Felipe Scolari who certainly knows what he's doing.

They're an extremely hard work side with the ability to destroy any team with Oscar, Paulinho, Neymar and Hulk supporting the rather static Fred, with options like Hernanes and Lucas Moura to come off the bench.

I don't know why he is wasting his life in Russia he has turned down moves from top clubs in Italy. I think he is set his mind on a move to Spain or England but there have not been any proper bids for him just a lot of rumours. Honda at Celtic would never happen but it would be amazing the man a megastar in Japan.

They have talent but they arent a good team.

Neymar just does individual stuff, always trying tricks or bits of skill to beat players but rarely doing it for a reason other than to show off. Why doesnt he concentrate more on helping the team and letting the play go through him?

Oscar is a really talented player too, he puts in more effort to make the team tick than Neymar but hes not that good yet, he is not an Ozil, Gotze, Mata, Iniesta etc level player yet.

Hulk just isnt that good, he can cross and shoot but he's not very creative and doesnt really fit in to their team.

Paulinho is a really good player, he always stands out for Brazil now, solid and he can take the ball forward from the centre but the guys he plays with Ramires and Gustavo arent that good, Ramires lacks technical ability and intelligence and Gustavo is like a less good version of Paulinho.

    Fred just isnt Brazil class.

There should be a purpose and a style of play that they are there as a team to do but they never look right. They neither play possession football or counter attacking football. Too many individuals - Fred, who basically stands up front waiting on balls to come into the box, he doesnt come deep to get involed in the play. Hulk who gets on the ball and runs forward with very little vision and either shoots, crosses or turns back and passes but theres no great movement or creativity from him. Neymar, who gets on the ball and slows the game down as he walks towards players and then tries to skin them by trickery, half the time he loses the ball, the other half he gets past them but then doesnt get the pass or cross away as he gets caught and blocked. Oscar, who floats about everywhere trying to get on the ball and link things up but he has no options as, as I mentioned neither Fred, Neymar or Hulk are looking to link-up they do their individual things.

    Cesar
    Alves Luiz Silva Marcelo
    Paulinho ______
    ______ Oscar Neymar
    ______

I think they are the only ones who are good enough to start for Brazil but I wouldnt have both Neymar and Oscar starting.

They need to get Alexandre Pato back to his best sharpish, imo.

Aye he'd be a better option than Fred but still not quite Brazil class, think of the attackers they've had down the years

Pele, Tostao, Socrates, Zico, Careca, Romario, Bebeto, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Kaka, Adriano...... Fred lol who would have ever thought Brazil wouldnt have a world class attacking player in the team?

Gustavo is a very solid and underrated player, he does a lot of unselfish work that goes unnoticed. He's not exactly exciting but he's always played well when I've seen him, Bayern fans also rate him very highly.

Aye hes is a good player but Paulinho is better than him and alongside Paulinho ideally you'd want someone who is more creative like a Cabaye, Moutinho, Banega, Alonso, Pirlo, Xavi, whatever type
