    I told someone about this and they are telling me it is infact sectarian according to the Scottish Government and until I can come up with proof that BOTB or any other song mentioning the IRA is deemed political then they are sectarian.

    Is there anything?

    He will get away with it because he hid behind the "we've been told by people outside" line. Nevin is just a complete * and should never be invited back unless he fully retracts those remarks regarding us.

    So by this then they are admitting that Flower Of Scotland is sectarian as well as it's in the same kind of context to songs reflecting the Irish War of Independence? I'm Scottish and I'm not putting down that song at all but they can't say one is sectarian and the other is not.

    The lyrics to the Boys From The Old Brigade are not sectarian at all (for anyone who doesn't know the lyrics: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Boys_of_the_Old_Brigade) and the idiots probably hear the lines of When being just a lad like you, I joined the IRA and think it's sectarian BECAUSE the IRA is mentioned.

    Because they're Huns. It's a bit of whataboutry from the BBC, nevermind the fact they failed point out 25k Rangers fans singing the Famine Song or never mind the fact that FARE took action against Rangers when BBC's coverage neglected the sectarian songs being sung from the Huns.

    The fact is there hurting from FARE pointing out the racist vile bigots they are and will do EVERYTHING in their power to mention anything remotely objectionable from us.

    How many time have they done that this season though? They don't need a reason where Celtic is involved. One is being condemned for it (Hun FC) so they feel that the other side of Glasgow has to answer for it as well. Hun FC are being drug down so they feel they must do the same with Celtic even though nothing has happened from the Celtic side.

    Im actually sickened by this country and its media. I can't even sing The Soldier's Song without being branded as a bigot. During the CIS Cup Final Rangers were singing-
    -very loudly and not one * word was said. This is getting beyond a joke.

    To me it ain't that they are complaining about the songs, it is the fact they are calling them sectarian and therefore wrongly accusing Celtic fans of sectarianism as the Celtic fan on their documentary said there is no anti-Protestant feeling within the Celtic support it simply doesn't exist but as far as political views are concerned that's a different subject.
