    Just sent my complaint, below, to BBC, and would urge as many of our supporters to do likewise. We are not "as bad as them", and refuse to stand back and be made scapegoats for the biased media reporting and shocking administration, which goes under the name of SFA.

    :shamrock::shamrock::shamrock:

    No doubt you will have numerous complaints about today's match coverage, in particular the half time comments from your presenter Rob McLean and one of his guests, Pat Nevin. Both of them made grossly inaccurate comments about Celtic supporters singing "sectarian" songs during the first half of the match. At no point, first or second half, did this occur, and to suggest that it did is indeed a very cheap remark which could be responsible for stirring up more sectarian tension between supporters of the 2 main clubs in Scotland, in a season we would all like to forget for all the disgraceful behaviour that has been directed at our manager, Neil Lennon.

    If your presenters, or guests, do not know what constitutes "sectarian" singing, then you should ensure that they refrain from making such ill-advised remarks on national televison.

    As a responsible broadcaster, that is funded by the general public, I would expect a full retraction of this remark during your evening highlights programme, and an apology to both Celtic and their support for the offence caused. We do not need any more ignorant people stoking the fires of this small country.

    Yours sincerely

    I'm certainly not defending McLean or Nevin, but the first mention of songs was that someone had called in to complain. Obvoiusly the call had come from someone with a hearing deficit as there were no songs of a sectarian nature being sung. Just because a viewer or listener complains about a song that they dislike doesn't make the complaint valid. The pundits could and in my opinion should have ignored the callers complaint and focussed on the football.

    Just sent a complaint:
    "Hi,
    I am complaining about a point made at half-time in the BBC Scotland live broadcast of the Scottish Cup Final, Rob MacLean said Celtic fans were singing sectarian songs which Pat Nevin agreed with where as this didn't seem to be the case and I feel ashamed for you that you think it was, I presume the songs in question were pro-IRA songs, which is a different topic altogether, they songs are political, he said the songs could be heard on the TV and these were the only ones that may cause controversy. It is shocking that you would wrongly accuse Celtic supporters of sectarian singing. I know a lot of fans immediately switched over to Sky Sports' broadcast in disgust at what they were hearing. If there were indeed any sectarian songs could you please inform me of the lyrics the presenters in question heard, otherwise, I'm sure like me many would appreciate an apology both by e-mail and on-air at some point."

    Make no mistake about it, the bigots are hurting.

    They’ve been exposed to the world, for the horrid filth they are. The condemnation of the horrific bomb threats to Neil Lennon went as far as Downing Street, and indeed the president of Uefa. The rest of Europe now knows of Scotland’s shame and it’s hurting them.

    Their media are now in a frantic rage to even the score by perpetuating their favourite myth.

    Celtic should contact Paul McBride QC about this ASAP.

    McLean said he was getting reports from outside their mini studio that there was sectarian singing. Nevin piled in with the insults at the support.

    It's about time these arseholes looked up "sectarian" and stopped tarnishing our name with that word.

    I made the decision to watch it on Sky today. For some reason I expected some rubbish like this to happen and quite frankly didn't want it to spoil my day.

    The studio pundits on Sky, including Jim White, were absolutely fine as far as I was concerned.
