If TM was to get sacked Celtic would not get in a manager till teh end of the season. WE would bring in Lennon form the reserves and that is not what is needed. We need stability which takes a bit of time. I amnot a fan of Tm at the moment, questionable signings ad tactics mainly the substitutions during the games eg. crosas yesterday. The lad got MOTM and only played for about 65 minutes daft decision.
But for the time being we have a manager and sacking him, at a cost and the backroom staff maybe cos celtic 2million, then that is just not on jsut now. has to be at teh end of season unless things have picked up dramatically

I agree. Mark Hughes couldn't build a team with a boatload of cash at Man City. I doubt he would be able to do so on a more limited budget.

I think TM deserves some time. I think even the harshest critic of TM agrees that the team he inherited was very flawed. I can deal with giving the man a year to put together a team that can go on a dominating 5 year run!

Fortune was a really bad buy, but I feel Thompson, N'Guemo and Ki will definitely be keys to that 5 year run. ( Jos could be as well) I am very excited to see who else he will bring in during the January and summer windows.

Its all about opinions, and my opinion is that TM doesnt have what it takes. How does that make me a "so-called" supporter?

I've presented my opinions, all you've done to counter them is say its a complete joke and made sarcastic remarks about Richmals post.

some people on this need to take a look at themselfs. He has come in and tryd to change almost everything and you are moaning. When he took over at westbrom the only player that survied was the captain. When you look at some of the decisions that have gone against us even against falkirk fortune not getting that pen. If we were getting the rub of the green and getting the pens we should be we would be top with a few points and he would be a hero

It is far, far, far too early to be talking about a change of manager. Mowbray must be given the full season before a change can ever be considered, and even then I'd say it's too soon to make the decision to axe him.

Football is filled with short-term thinking and knee-* reactionaries, for all Celtic's faults we'd be finished if we became one of them. See Man City, QPR, Livingston for examples. Christ, last seasons signing policy stunk of short-termism and this is the result.

We must do better and giving the Huns 2IAR would be unforgivable and makes me feel sick to contemplate, but Mowbray needs time.

    1) Did we really need a massive change? The team was in good(ish) shape already.
    2) Look what happened there, they got relegated. He has sold our captain, leaving us without a leader.
    3) We can't rely on a dodgy decision for us winning games, we should be scoring a barrel load against that pub team.

    Just can't get enough
Give the man time. I'm also not impressed, but it's not good for the team to fire the manager after just six months. I don't know how his relationship with the group is, but every manager would play 4-4-2 and set 90% of the players who are in now. We just have not enough quality at some points. But we can work on it this month! Get a goal scoring-striker and a huge, very impressing central back!

I havent rated mowbray from day 1 and ive never liked him, however, I could list countless mistakes but why bother, we're not making progress at all, only going backwards and with Dundee utd just 4 points behind us we may struggle 2 finish 2nd. If it was up to me I woudnt sack him unless there was someone readily available to take over (Is Bilic still out a job?) I certainly woudnt give him a penny more 2 spend given his poor record so far, perharps a loan signing striker a la craig bellamy a few years back could save the season. If he did go and there was no manager readily available why not get willie mcstay the job till the end of the season? He won several leagues and cups with the reserves and is doing well with that mob he's with. The same argument seems 2 be, should he go or should we give him more time? I think the leagues already over so sacking him wont make amends to an already broken season.

at least wait till the end of january when he bring in more players

was the lack of defenders that caused that

    and mowbray didnt sign mcmanus/naylor/odea/samaras

    he's still building HIS team

i honestly thought mowbray would do a good job for celtic but my opinion on him is changing fast... although he still has to get rid of strachans dungbags and hopefully bring in a couple of good players, he still should be beating falkirk at home, too may times this season have we lost to * teams when we should be beating them even with the crap we have at the moment... in my opinion we threw the league away yesterday, hope to be proving wrong but dont see it.. just think about it, imagine losing the league to this rangers team, * unbearable..:31:
