That team that was on the park yesterday didnt have a clue where any of them were ment to be playing. Then when he makes subs its a total joke he changes the full shape of the team. There is to many passengers in the team and no partnerships in key areas such as centre forwards and central defence. Just like the strachen team there is no shape and no balance and a team of very light weight lazy players.
As for the budget arguement from lawell about we cant compete with x, y and z, everyone knows that but not one team in scotland can compete with us financially, so that excuse is totally invalid. This has gone on long enough we are playing agaisnt an effectively bankrupt rival who have not added to there squad for 18 months and are run of the field by a bank, and they are nine points clear of us. For me thats not good enough infact no where near good enough.
I thnik we need someone to take charge and organise the team properly ratehr than 10 guys running about with no formation tactics or ideas in terms of set plays etc.
Really where do we go from here?

guys, as a rangers fan im looking from the outside in.. to be honest both sides a very very poor. hamilton played us off the park yesterday and we didnt deserve to win.. celtic played us off the park the week pevious and we didnt deserve a draw. the league is far from over and i can tell you this, i wouldnt take either celtic or rangers on my football coupon (honestly) we are both so inconsistent. i could go on and on but im sure you all know what im trying to say..

peace 2 all from an decent honest athiest football fan.

It hurts to listen to Mowbray saying theirs no panic! then you look at the stats so far on his managerial time at Celtic up to now. So we can claw back the points then can we and go on this wining streak and the Huns will lose their bottle all of a sudden!Actions always speaks louder than words TM you have never shut up on your philosophies and dreams..do us a favour and stop taking the * and do your talking on the pitch and start getting results fast that's win and win some more it might save your managerial career at Celtic but then only time will tell..

This point would be valid if we were walking the league we are not able to compete with english league but we are financially iles ahead of any other club in scotland. You said it yourself rangers are near bust and have not bought a player in 18 months have a poor team bar a few but are organised and do their jobs for example weirs ancient but organises there defence they dont conceed many. Mccullochs a hatchet man but puts foot in breaks up other teams attacks. Boyds fat and lazy scores goals, Miller runs bout like headless chicken.
The biggest thng for me is our team is a bit like mcleishs last team at them and le guens team some talented players but no pasion what so ever and a bunch of lazy pre madonnas who are very un organized.
This needs to be addressed get a shape and formation loet people familarise themslves with these roles and their partnerships on the park and the higher quality of player in our squad may get a chance to show it.

Tony Mowbray's time is NOT up. Not for me anyway.

This team is showing signs of heading in the right direction. Another 2 or 3 players definitely need to be added but in most of our matches we are playing some decent stuff, creating chances and generally are the better team. That's a good base to start from.

Clearly the defence needs tightened up. Hopefully Jos Hooiveld will go some way to doing that although I personally would like to see another centre-back arrive at the club as neither Loovens, O'Dea or McManus are really good enough to be regular first team players. We also need a striker who can finish. We have one in Scott McDonald but it's pretty clear Tony Mowbray doesn't like some parts of McDonald's game so if that is the case then we need to get another striker in. One who can finish, knows you need to be in the box to score regularly and is capable of joining in with the style of football Tony Mowbray wants to play. If we can add these two players to the team we currently have we will have taken a big step forward.

Yesterday was obviously really, really disappointing. There can be no doubt about that whatsoever. We should have beaten Falkirk. It does however have to be recognised that a lot of players, who would have played if we had a fully fit and available squad, were unavailable to us yesterday. Caldwell, Loovens, Fox, N'Guemo, Maloney, Brown, Robson and McDonald are all players who have contributed this season but were unavailable to Tony Mowbray yesterday. Most of those players have been regulars in the team lately and yesterday they were not. It's not an insignificant list and there is a lot of talent there that was not available. I realise we should still have had enough to beat Falkirk anyway but the point I'm trying to make is that the team has been playing fairly well lately and yesterday there was a lot of changes forced on Tony Mowbray and that never helps.

If it sounds like I am making excuses for yesterday's result I am not. I don't excuse drawing at home to Falkirk at all. That's not good enough and we all know that. Looking at the bigger picture though I still think Tony Mowbray is going to get this right. The signs are there. Most of what we're doing IS good. Unfortunately the two areas of the team that are hurting us right now are possibly the two most important - central defence and up front. Some fine tuning in these areas or the arrival of a couple of new faces in these areas will remedy that I'm sure. We're not far away from being a good side even though it feels like we're a million miles away after yesterday's result.

As Journey would say ' Don't Stop Believin' '!

    Hail! Hail!

I was sitting on the fence to whether he should go or not but you've won me over.
My main problem is that he says the team is not good enough, jesus christ that team did 3 in a row and beat the likes of AC Milan, Man Utd etc, and that's not good enough? The only thing that has changed since then is the manager, he is to blame, simple as that.
We're going backwards and I know this is a bad time to sack a manager, but we should punt him before he does anymore damage or spends millions on duff players. Cheerio pal.

    Never Happy!!!!!!!!!

Are we the hardest fans 2 please?? yes!!!! Do we sit at games and expect 2 be entertained?? yes!!! do we SUPPORT our players ??!! NOO!!

We Celtic fans need 2 get a grip !!!!!

We are never happy , Gordon Strachan won 3 in a row , domestic cups , last 16 of champions league TWICE!!1 But still cos he wasnt a Celtic man we wanted him out ??!! we're turning into glory hunters . mind the days of the 90's comin 4th?? look how far we've come and wat we've acheived in last 10 years .

Even under Martin O'Neill we moaned about the style of play but it was one of the most succesful periods in history!!

Time to get a grip to be honest , start getting behind the team cos the abuse the players get from the 1st minute to last is EMBARESSING , im a season ticket holder and i know its a lot of money we pay e.t.c but does it really help moaning like * at every misplaced pass , no wonder their confidence is ripped to shreds . i know it frustrating we're losing pace in title but does it help with the negativity from the stands???

Last season we threw away a 7 point lead twice - a 14 point turn around.

The season before that we were 7 points behind in April having played a game more - we turned it around.

Huge improvements are required, but throwing in the towel in January while sitting 9 points behind with a game in hand is not the answer imo,the season can be turned around.

If Mowbray is not the answer who is? Even a self proclaimed Celtic fan thinks relegation fighting Bolton is a bigger draw than Celtic - doesn't leave us with many options.

Currently we are not good enough, that bit I agree with, however, I don't think sacking Mowbray will do us much good just now for two reasons:

    1. Some games we have shown what this team is capable off, however a sever lack of consistency and needing strengthening in a couple of key areas is costing us major points, this can be worked on by Mowbray if he gets suitable people in during the January transfer window.

    2. What manager in their right mind will take on a poison chalice where if you aren't top of the league in 6 months you'll be sacked. I don't want us to go back to the revolving door for managers like in the 90's if we sack Mowbray now I believe there is a real chance of this happening.
