I have to laugh though at the suckers who actually believed we would attempt to sign steven fletcher. Kazim is the level of player we are at now thats how depressing it is. We squandered 1.5 million on ciftci to dump him out in january and replace him wih this guy, ah * im not looking at transfer news until tonight and just do the rosary all day in the hope of a decent signing.

CKR has scored 12 goals in 38 appearances for feyenoord. It's hardly prolific but it's 0.32 goals a game in a tougher league. I think he could be a decent signing if we can get his attitude right

Don't get me wrong it's far from who I wanted to see coming in. However, we paid over £1m for ciftci and his record in Scotland wasn't much better. At least this guy is free. Not as bad a deal as some folk are making out!

 

If the staff can get this guy to chill the * out he could be a good signing. I despised the notion of us signing leigh because of his antics and i ate my words.

It is common opinion that the defence in Holland is generally gash. So much so when we signed van dijk people questioned it.
They also questioned the potential signing of finnbogason because the defence there is generally *.

Griffiths had a proven record for this level.
Ciftci was * and had a bad record (bar one season).


For the record, in the past 5 seasons we have turned a profit in 4 out of 5 seasons (including to date) regarding transfers alone, that being the latest 4 and the only year we didn't was a loss of 450k.
The profit in that time is 26.35million.
The current season we are on a profit of 3.3million as we enter deadline day.

Is it too much to ask that some of this profit is actually spent on a decent striker? And that is not taking in to fact that our scouts are utter gash at finding a striker.

 

I think this hints at 2 up front a bit more often. He is a better option than Ciftci or Cole

 

This. Another pointless signing eating away at the little funds that robbing * gives us.

What makes anyone think Griffiths,Cole, kazim-richards is going to make that happen?

2 up top (or rather 1) isn't the issue, it's the * players that are signed for the team that are the issue.
