    People are right to have doubts about a guy (coming here as a supposed striker) who has 53 goals in near enough 400 career games.

    I hope he proves us all wrong as well but from what I have seen of him and Feyenoord fans wanting shot of him it really sums up our transfers lately.

    We can't spot a striker to save ourselves.

    I think we would all hope he's successful as that can only be good for us. The problem is, going by our track record with signings recently and his goals record throughout his career he probably won't. We should be looking at someone who has a proven record at a decent level, this lessens the risk of him being a dud & us being lumbered with another useless player that we need to move on. Colin Kazim Richards has all the hall marks of another failed acquisition.

    This signing is a perfect embodiment of everything wrong with our signing policy.

    Cheap option, poor scoring record, hasn't cut it at teams we should be aspiring to be as good as (Pukki+Schalke, Boerrigter+Ajax)

    This signing is as inspiring as a Ronny half-time team talk.
