Agreed, CKR is the type of player that would have kept some fire in the team yesterday.

Still don't want this * though.

I was assuming this was permanent?

Although the strange thing is nothing has been mentioned regarding the transfer. No fee or anything.

It would be worth a million quid or so just to see him plant one on Nevin's receedo.

Think Feyenoord wanted to sell him. vi.nl aren't mentioning a loan deal either. Hope it is though.

I thought I heard Feyenoord was willing to let him go for free.

Yep. As much as I've been saying for the last year that we lack proper vision and flair (and I still think we do badly), we're also lacking big outrageous personalities. Just watching old videos, and someone like DiCanio- not exactly famed for being a hard man- having a right go at the Huns and not backing down. I think we need more this now.

I actually agree with this. Injecting a bit of arrogance into our team wouldn't do any harm at all. Guys like Mackay-Steven, Armstrong and Forrest are all very timid.

Wonder what you guys think of him in 6 months time. :smiley-laughing002:

I really hope he does well, but fear the worst with this guy.

Yesterday proved it once and for all to me - even though wee Mackay-Steven was getting stuck in at points. We were BULLIED over the park (albeit they had the man advantage, but still) and have been for months at one point or another - I believe that's why Broon was brought on - to bring some dig and fight against a team who were basically sent to outmuscle, snap and foul us at every opportunity, thereby stopping our football.

Fair play to some of you grasping for some sort of positivity. But alas, it really isnt there guys.

We need a striker better than Griffiths to take us up a level, so we get a ciftci mk2.

Seriously uninspiring and a massive disappointment from the club here.

I get the vibe from Armstrong and Mackay-Steven that they still can't quite believe they are here. That was ok at first because it was a big move for them but they need to grow into the shirt now and push on. The honeymoon period is over for them.
