Dead on mate, addiction is selfish, it ruins families and it doesn't take a genius to look around them and see that it ruins towns and cities.

Because I was irresponsible and selfish.

 

There's an instant effect that you feel. Rather than having to sit in the pub all night and suddenly realised your steaming at midnight.

It makes you feel clever and funny.

It wears off after a while unlike pills or acid etc.

It is out of your blood stream quickly if you have work drug tests.

People can take a few lines of it on a night out and not feel hungover the next day unlike if you got *.

There is a glamour around it that a lot of people see.

Personally i don't like the idea of snorting anything, it just seems wrong. Just as i just see taking horse tranquiliser as wrong.

I can imagine mate, I'll keep a close eye on what I am doing.

That's not addiction. If you are taking first thing on a Monday morning then that would be an addiction.

Plenty of people on here would say that they need to have a few pints on a Saturday night, that doesn't make them alcoholics does it?

This is all a massive ruse. Your family has actually arranged an intervention and they felt that this is a place you feel comfortable.
