I'm pretty sure we'll be seeded for the first 2 of them, and unseeded for the final, and will have to play one of the big boys.

    Yeah i'm sure mate.

It's the new seeding system drawn up by the genius that is Platini lol.

He wants to whittle it down eventually to two teams max form everywhere.

New system is *, but when you see the name behind it, it's all clear. Add Blatter there and I'm off to vomit. Wanks, both of them.

This system makes possible to weaker sides to enter groups, which is cool considering CL is for champions of their countries. But that's only positive thing, overall it's crap.

But I'm surprised we get easier teams to play with, I thought it would be like this season. But I guess that's because we'll be (jinx) champions, hence the easy road to groups.

    European qualifying

Hi, one of my mates said that rangers would need to go through 3 qualifying rounds because they won the league and if they won all 3 then they would make the champions league group stages. And also we would not get the chance to make the champions league we would go straight in to the europa league. Is this true? I have also heard that rangers would go straight in to the group stages and we would need to qualify by going through 3 rounds. I am well confused lol. Would be great if somone could clear this up.Cheers:shamrock::shamrock::shamrock::shamrock:

Less teams qualifying means less co-efficent points though, so not sure it would really help for the long run.

And just to clarify for those who are confused - we get two Champions League spot next season (with the second place team having to play the qualifying rounds) but the season after that it's just one and the other goes to Belgium.

Does the national team have anything to do with the UEFA co-efficient???? If it does, we cant just blame the teams qualifying for europe.

To make our co-efficient better, why dont we start the season at the beginning of July, and start the League cup then. We will have competative games, and the team will have a bit of an understanding with each other by the time europe comes around.

It will be a lot better than having to go and play stupid friendlies, that the teasm gets nothing from, like last year when we went to Australia, although i have a feeling that a toru of South Korea may be on the cards this year.
