Clubs you would never play for?

I wouldn't. I'd do my best to play for Cliftonville rather than Linfield, and I'd also do my best to avoid Chelsea, but if push came to shove I'd play for either.

I'm not going to reject Rangers for their racist, intolerant, cheating ways and then sign for Real.

 

Anyone, that is if I was a young footballer trying hard to break through, you can't complain about a young boy trying desperately to break through for signing for Rangers, it's an extremely difficult task to break through and you have to take every single tiny chance you * get.

If I had made my money then the only team I wouldn't play for would be Rangers.

 

sevco, Linfield, Atletico and Zenit.

 

These days half the Linfield team seem to come from West Belfast. I'd play for sevco in the morning - but then I'm * & could never get a game for the Hoops

 

Mate theres a colossal difference between playing for rangers and Real Madrid, the most prestigious club in the world. In an extreme case if you were say 18 years old playing for east fife and no other big clubs were interested and a real madrid scout came up and offered you a contract theres no way you would say no in reality.

 

This. I hate Real Madrid but I'd sign for them in a heartbeat.

 

I would say no. Rangers may be worse but Real are in my opinion similar. You don't have to be an expert to see what these similarities are.

There is also no situation where a Real would want me to sign for them and no other club would. Even so I could still hold my head high if I played for East Fife.

 

Real Madrid send a scout to a one day cup competition which your Sunday league team are playing in. After it, the scout comes up to talk to you and says he'll ring you tomorrow with details.

Your response to this situation would be something along the lines of 'shove it up your * bud' ?

Your words. I wouldn't be so rude as to tell this person to shove it up his *. Afterall it would be a massive compliment to be offered a contract.

I would explain my reasons as to why I wouldn't and couldn't in a reasonable way.

 

Right whatever mate, i just think if that hypothetical situation was a reality you would be insane to turn it down. And i wont even ask why you said you would never play for Manchester United, Inter, Newcastle, spurs etc etc.

 

You're not helping your argument by saying 'So what of their past, they're an amazing team!' That's like saying if there was a club called * Berlin FC and they were the best team in Bundesliga you'd forget any of their policies, history, fanbase because of their prestige and how much money they have. I've already stated that I'm not going to lie and say I would turn down Hearts if they were the only viable option to further my career but I can guarantee that I have far too much respect, integrity and passion for Celtic even to contemplate for a single second to play for Sevco or ANY form of Rangers Football Club. It is completely unacceptable and no amount of money would tempt me, but I guess morals mean something else for other people.

 

I'm not bothered what you would think aslong as I could live with myself I'd be happy.

 

Probably sign for anyone apart from Sevco or Stirling Albion.

There's a flipside to that though. I couldn't live with myself knowing I could have had a career in football but turned it down due to me not liking the club.

Lets be honest if Real wanted him he'd have a choice of club probably anyway.
