No chance, all packages will sell out like last season, what kills it is giving season ticket holders the opportunity to buy extra packages, that cleans them all out, only ones that might reach a general sale are returns from the opposition, Bayern no chance, PSG possibly, Anderlecht I don't know.

Strangely Barca always return loads and that's one that oddly always did have single ticket sales

You are right which reconfirms why I find it hard to understand Celtic charging less for a main stand plum view seat than Bayern do for their cheapest poorest view ones to watch Lewa and Robben as being such a bad deal.

For a start our league tickets are massively overpriced as are the rest of the spl's. This has the knock on effect of making champions league tickets more expensive. We aren't paying Lewa etc's wages so don't need to charge as much as our running costs are far less, probably less than half. A rough calculation of 57,000 tickets at £30 is £1.71m before other matchday income. That is more than sufficient. Yes we need to make money but not at the expense of pricing fans out. £50 for non st holders is ridiculous. Glasgow is also far less prosperous than Munich which should be reflected in pricing.

To use an analogy from the gaming industry we're like an indie developer going up against a triple a developer (EA, Activision etc) A top level indie is priced around £20-30 whereas a triple a is £40-50. The price is based on the position in the market not we'll charge whatever because we can.

if you're looking to go to 2/3 then it might be worth your while keeping an eye out on ticket site for a general sale.

Doubt you would have any problem getting someone to take the spare for anderlecht off your hands through either here or @celticspares on twitter.

Fingers crossed for you anyway mate!

I guess it comes down to whether you can afford it or not as regards how much you object. With season books already north of 500 quid that already means a lot of fans just cant go, especially those looking to take kids as well. And there are probably guys who do go but probably cant afford to. So another 115 quid on top may be that bit too much so they need to miss out on the biggest games of the season. And that doesnt even include cup semis and finals, or a single away day.

So while the euro prices in themselves look fine I think the cumulative cost is too much. Given the plight of the local area it is sad that celtic knowingly price out so much of its most local fanbase

I find it even sadder that people are having a go at those who have been priced out of going to these games and criticising the prices. Especially when it's the old, "well if you don't like it don't go, someone else will fill your seat anyway." Both inside Celtic Park at board level and away from it we're rapidly removing ourselves from the original mission and mantra of Celtic FC.

Sorry but that's an awful analogy and you've lost me there altogether, clearly you don't want to pay the going rate which is fine and your call as you think it's too high, going on attending matches in 7 different countries last season alone I can't agree with your assement it is too high for Europes Premier Competition and on that note we can only agree to differ, the hikes nearly all clubs make on CL tickets is almost criminal and although ours are higher they are nothing percentage wise compared with most and that needs bearing in mind before castigating Celtic

I'd love to be paying 20 quid a game for these CL matches as everyone else would, problem that is fantasy stuff.....

Haha, was just the first thing that came to mind. Essentially we aren't producing a top tier product but rather a good quality one which should be reflected in the pricing structure.

I used to go alot more frequently but I don't feel the quality gas increased to justify the price hikes in football in general. I go to more gigs these days as I find I get better value for my money, but that doesn't mean Celtic aren't still important to me. The way the game has gone the last 10 or so years has disenfranchised me and I only care about Celtic now and rarely watch as a neutral. It's no longer the game I loved growing up.

Yeah, we'll have to agree to disagree.
Didn't mean £20 for the champions league if that's how you read it. I feel £35 should be the absolute maximum at our current level. If we still had a squad on the level of 2002 I'd be happy to pay more. No disrespect to the current squad but that team was on another level.
