Barca to win 3-1 and 1-0 to us with a McGeady OG in the last minute :50:

I agree. I'd prefer Lassad to start though. :50:

The atmosphere will also depend on the news coming in from the other game in the group.

If Benfica take an unlikely lead at the Nou Camp, regardless of whether we're winning 4-0 at that point or not against Spartak in our game, the atmosphere will be a subdued one. We need to rely heavily on Barcelona to do us a favour, but if you could choose one team to do you such a favour, you would choose Barcelona :50:

i am beginning to agree with that lineup TAB, need chico in there for set piece delivery but i feel he would be wasted if pushed up into midfield.

Ambrose has shown that he is more than capable of playing in midfield and dare i say it, that could well be his best position. Guy has a lot of composure, an assured touch and good pace and skill. In a game we need to really win i feel he would be put to better use in midfield than Mulgrew would.

Him Kayal and Ledley providing the steel and composure with Commons and Sammy helping hooper up front.

I have a feeling we'll need more than a draw in this one.

    .............................Forster

    Lustig...........Ambrose......Mulgrew.....Izaguirre

    Forrest.........Brown...Kayal...Ledley....Samaras

    .............................Hooper

I really feel Moscow will come and park bus like alot spl clubs have done at parkhead. We struggle to break them down, They hit us on counter and I really feel we going to struggle to win this one. We need play sammy and Lassad up front. I think we see alot balls pumped into there box. We need height in there to try get on end off these crosses. Hooper be good option to come on in second half.

    my team be

    Forster

    Lustig Ambrose K. Wilson Mulgrew

    Brown Kayal Ledley Commons

    Sammy Lassad

    FORSTER

    LUSTIG WILSON MULGREW IZAGUIRRE

    AMBROSE

    KAYAL LEDLEY

    LASSAD HOOPER SAMARAS

We'll need to win, and I believe this is the perfect team to start with. No Commons please, he hasn't warranted a start imo, and has been dreadful of late. We'll need Sammy and Lassad to run at them and create that spark we badly miss, they also offer height. Hooper to start as I believe he will return to form this game. Mulgrew to start for his delivery, paired with Wilson at CB. Izzy back in the starting 11 (he offers more going forward than Mulgrew and Matthews). Not to keen on Brown starting, he was woeful in Lisbon, but I'd like to see him feature at some point.

2-1 to the Hoops, Hooper and Sammy. :50: HH :shamrock:

Not too keen on splitting up Ambrose and Wilson at centre back, although I know that Mulgrew is more than capable of stepping in there when needed. Efe and Kelvin have been immense there so far this season and I think we will need to be sharp defensively if we want to get the required result.

I think we'll play something like this.

    Forster
    Lustig Ambrose Wilson Izaguirre
    Brown Kayal Ledley Mulgrew
    Samaras
    Hooper

I could be wrong, just what I'm thinking.

I'm assuming Broony will start. Think that gives us a lot of versatility. Lustig can drop back for a lopsided 442, Ambrose can push up into midfield when we have possession. Can easily change to a 433 when we're attacking.
