Hi guys City fan here. Really looking forward to coming up next week for the game should be a good one. Anyone suggest anywhere for a good drink before and after the game? We are staying over so if anyone could suggest a lively bar midweek that has a few older people in it close or around to the city centre it would be much appreciated. Enjoy the game and have a good season.

Alright mate. I don't drink in Glasgow, so I wouldn't know, but I'm posting this so it goes back to the top. I'm sure someone will give you a decent idea of where to go.

Ehhmm i don't live in Glasgow either but i woul recomend just going into the Gallowgate or Gorballs. (Just ask a taxi driver they will know what you mean) Both areas will have a lot of pubs, majority full of celtic fans but you shouldn't have any bother.

Alright mate... I hope you have a good time up in Glasgow for the game..

The Gallowgate is a good shout.. 10 minutes walk from the City Centre and 15 minutes walk to the ground.. It's a big Celtic area but you won't get any trouble...

15 minutes??? Have you got rocket propelled boots? :icon_mrgreen:

As a City and Celtic man, I'm not too sure the Irish pubs around Gallowgate will be the right place for you. I've had more than the odd frosty reception due to my English accent, and that's when wearing the Hoops!

Whatever you do, Crewe Blue, don't bring your Union Jack Manchester City flag and hang it up outside the Saracen's Head! :56:

I am delighted that we are playing City and really looking forward to the game, I am from the Oldham area but have always supported Celtic, however I would always lean towards City before that Trafford mob

the lads are correct about you not getting any hassle up the gallowgate but if you want some neutral pubs theres a walkabout, spoons etc on renfield street and surrounding areas. To be honest anywhere in the city centre will be alright for a swally in the afternoon midweek, mostly all city workers and students.
