    ...Hes going to be First Choice FFS! Hes just needed sometime to get up to speed with things, and as mentioned many a time before, it would be risky to be starting 2 CB's who are not used to playing together in these european qualifiers. He should be ready from now on in though.

    Aye, he’s nailed on to start with Ajer the next 2 games imo.

    Just would have been a risk to throw him and Ajer in for their first game together at CB away in Cluj.

    I thought he looked good, albeit you can tell he hasn't had much gametime. I think he'll be a colossus for us once he's up and running.

    A couple of nervy moments and shouldn't have been beaten so easily for the 2nd goal but other than that thought he strolled it. Him & Ajer could end up being our CB partnership in a very long time..

    Regarding the second goal, what is he meant to do when someone is pushing down on you and it’s foul? The * used him as leverage for the header.

    You can bet a tenner if it was the other way around it would have been a free kick against us.

    Thought he grew into the game today, but a few minor alarm bells already.

    Seems easily bullied in the air and chasing after the ball a few times instead of just holding his position.

    Hopefully just a bit of nerves and lack of fitness.
